The creature reeled back Arthur gritted his teeth and braced himself as he went flying through the air to the edge of the battlefield.
'How is this thing so strong?' Arthur struggled to think.
'You forget that the last time you were facing Knol, you had flame essence to help you. Have you already forgotten how fast Knol and his comrades were? Even with your flame essence, they managed to drive you into the trees,' his phoenix replied.
'I only ran because Galliard arrived. There is no way I could have run from those wolves,' Arthur argued.
'You got lucky. This general isn't fully developed. It lacks an ability… You found a way to evade Knol's ability, but that doesn't make you a Dark General killer just yet,' the phoenix scolded Arthur.
