Brandon's heavy hits kept on coming. The longer the two battled, the more Arthur got the odd suspicion that the guardian didn't want him to touch the ground.
Fortunately for the prince, balance was one of his strong suits…
He always managed to get on his feet and use the momentum of Brandon's attacks to resume a dash and further increase the speed he was gathering with his Air Battle Arts.
Of course, there was only so much that could do to protect him from injury. His body was already hurting in several places. His phoenix constantly alerted him of the parts of his body that needed tending to while he ran.
'I know! I know! Just let me concentrate,' Arthur would reply once the voices in his head grew too loud.
Arthur tried to throw a few punches too… but to no avail. Alas, his agility was not as efficient as it used to be… and remembering every little detail on how he was to fine-tune it would not do him any justice.
