Cindy walked back to her ward and found everything was in total chaos. Everyone was running around looking for something while her parents were sitting on the bench with her father consoling her mother who was crying quite pitifully.
Roman and Violet Sterling were giving orders far from where she was standing while Alexander, who had woken up some time ago was making calls. There was visible anxiety on his face, something Cindy had never seen before.
She walked towards her parents and said, "What is going on? Is the hospital getting robbed?"
When her voice fell, the whole hallway froze and everyone stopped what they were doing and turned to her.
There was fear in their eyes that was quickly washed away before relief flooded in.
Cindy asked again when she saw no one was answering her, "Did something happen?"
