Chairman Lee was graceful enough to let her family go. The Li Family was truly being relentless in their pursuit of the Ming Family and all of the things the Ming Family had worked so hard to build over the years was coming down.
What made this meeting worse was the fact the Chairman Lee and Ming Mimi were exes. They had a happy marriage from long before but Chairman Lee had sent Ming Mimi away so Ming Mimi really felt salty that she had to meet with him like this.
As soon as she opened the door, Chairman Lee looked at her with a small, mocking smile, "What do I owe this pleasure?"
Ming Mimi immediately felt disgusted but she was here for a reason so she put her personal feelings away for a bit. She sat down and asked, "What do you want? In return for letting my family go?"
Chairman Lee smiled, "Ah, Ming Mimi," Chairman Lee's voice dripped with insincerity as he greeted her. "To what do I owe the pleasure of your company?"
