This was the first time Paul Jobs was speaking this way to Cindy. Most of the times, it had just been them saying hi to each other whenever they met on the company. Cindy did not know that the other could speak this much!
Cindy laughed, "If he was to kill me then I would have been dead by now. Don't worry, I will be fine and I will see you at work tomorrow."
Paul laughed as well yet behind his laughter, there was a coldness hidden. He suddenly asked again "How will you get home? If it is near you can take my car, I will drive you there."
Cindy shook her head, "There is no need for that. Someone is already coming to pick me up."
Paul froze and his face turned dark, "A boyfriend?" he feigned playfulness.
Cindy did not want to lie so she said, "Something like that."
