He could not let her be in danger again after what happened back then. He could never allow her to be close to danger again!
He had seen with his own eyes her almost lifeless body. The place he was going to was very dangerous and the people they were going to meet were no more than gangsters!
Cindy tried to reason with him, "I am very capable of taking care of myself!"
Alexander scoffed as he stared at her still-bandaged arm, "Yeah, right!"
Cindy felt embarrassed, "That was only one time…okay two times, don't look at me like that! I was caught off-guard so I could not react well but you of all people know my abilities! I just can't bear letting you go away to that dangerous place all by yourself!"
Cindy could not bear to be a part from him especially after they were together only for a short while. She knew the place was dangerous but this was Alexander so no matter how much he refused, she knew he would always protect her!
