The situations left only one option and possibility to save their love and unite the two communities. As said, some curses could and can only be cleansed by blood. There was no better blood suited for that than the royal blood; hence, the prince had to die! He prearranged his own death with the help of his best friend Dr. Kirimi, who also happened to be their family doctor. The prince was killed! Chapter 1 - PREFACE

Humanity is virtuous because of virtues. The various values we uphold to make life worth the struggle, to have meaning and, many other valid reasons. Religion and culture for instance. We believe that upholding these values make us human. Above all, we believe they protect us and guide our every path. The light that lights up our pathways of life as we cruise through.

What no one ever stops to think about is the evolution part. The effects of this evolution, to not only the values but also, the people upholding these values. The human factor in relation to these values. The values might not change, but we humans are prone to change.

A positive change or a negative change. A change that strengthens our values and morals or a change that weakens them. The result of this being from creations of our own making. Creations made to serve the good of humanity and religion but, unfortunately, does exactly the opposite.

These creations disregard religion at the highest of degrees and kill humanity for what it is leaving behind a trail of blood and bodies. Bodies of innocent people. People that are true to the original cause and never much affected by the refinement.

People that value and uphold the virtues and still recognizing refinement for what it is. Suffering and dying for what they believe in. A question comes to mind, are these values not supposed to protect us and light the way?

Well, in the end, the light is appreciated because of darkness and vice versa. After darkness comes light and many other examples we know of. Good and worth results or efforts calls for sacrifices. Even Innocent Jesus had to die on the cross for salvation. His death was for a good cause because he remained true to his values. That makes it a worthy sacrifice. One worth dying to protect and acknowledge.

When the Malaba people held on their morals and virtues, they lived in harmony but, for refinement to walk hand in hand with the virtues, they had a price to pay. In the end, found a way to balance the morals, religion and refinement without cause for drawing innocent blood.

When darkness is in reign, great agony and pain must be experienced for light to shine. Even the dawn is sometimes red before the warm rays of the sun are felt. It is said, blood is thicker, I stand corrected but I tend to disagree. Why? Thin Blood might just have the answer you seek.
