Bryson waved the doctor goodbye to the doctor before leaving the hospital with Everette. Sam had prescribed some suppressants for Everette, which Bryson had bought before they were on their way.
" Bryson ". Everette called his name slowly. They were in the car and Bryson was driving them back to the house.
" Yes Everette ". Bryson answered looking at Everette through the review mirror just for a second, the boy was staring intently at his lap as if thinking about something. Bryson returned his eyes to the road.
" What's wrong? ".
" Is there something wrong with me? ". Everette asked and Bryson rose a brow, a bit caught off guard by his question.
" Why the question? ".
" I saw the way you were looking at me after the scary man in white told you something ".
" Scary man? You mean the Sam ". Bryson looked at him through the review mirror and he nodded.
