Chapter 19 - Chapter 19 After the Meet and Greet

When Brendon and I got back to our rooms he followed me into my room. I didn't want to have the awkward conversation with him that I knew was coming. To put off the impending interrogation, I ran into the bathroom and shut the door behind me before starting the water for a shower. Looking in the mirror showed me that I looked almost the same as I had a year ago, my hair was longer but that was it. My thoughts drifted off to the man at the meet and greet tonight and I wanted to know more about him. His black hair was long and hung down his back, straight as a board like mine and it looked silky. I could see his eyes clearly across the lawn and I had never been so mesmerized before. His eyes were the palest blue I had ever seen in my life.
