When we returned from our run, the twins took me quickly into the house and removed the leash after they locked the door behind us. It was almost lunch time, so Brendon followed me to the kitchen and helped me prepare lunch. The entire time we were fixing lunch he never quit humming. It seemed like Brendon was always in a good mood. I let myself get lost in my thoughts until it was time to go to the dining room. While we were eating, the twins sat there and they each put a hand on one of my knees. It had become a routine now that I had just adapted too.
"I'm going to go lay down for a nap." Brandon said as soon as we finished eating.
"Okay, sleep well." Brendon responded to him as I gathered up the dishes.
