It was a full moon tonight. Stars scattered here and there on the horizon, making funny shapes of different things Bren would've loved to observe.
Bren stole a glance at the governor every now and then. It was all he could do to constantly remind himself that he wasn't alone. Otherwise, he wouldn't be able to help but get lost in the sparkling world above
The governor rested his hands on the hand rail with a sigh.
"Bren?" He called.
"Yes, my lord?" Bren answered immediately.
"I'm not very good at giving apologies, but, I am sorry about the way you were treated when you were accused of Philippe's murder."
Bren listened in silence, not moving as much as a muscle.
"I was blinded by fear and anger…" the governor continued. " …I could not see past the false allegations that, that…that bodyguard brought to frame you." The governor moved his gaze to Bren's face, a sincere look on his face.
