The forest seemed different now as Elara and I walked along behind Falara. Everything somehow seemed brighter, but we all walked in silence. While there was an air of brightness, I was sure everyone was excited but nervous about this.
On top of that, I had pushed a bold request on Falara, asking if she would become one of my wives. That was probably wrong of me to ask so soon, but I would be willing to accept her just as one of my retainers. She would still be free to roam, but I was sure I would need her help in the future.
As we entered the sacred grove, three body-shaped cocoons of leaves and flowers were in the center. These must be the bodies Falara had prepared, but I had no idea how this process worked. I only knew that it was possible from my experiences in the past, but I had never seen it done in person before.
