Selena returned shortly after, carrying a neatly folded camping tent in her hands, along with a small bed frame balanced on her shoulder. Chase blinked in disbelief as she approached, seemingly unfazed by the weight of her burden. She set everything down gently, brushing strands of hair out of her face, her serene expression lit by the faint glow of the two moons overhead.
"Where did you even get all this?" Chase asked, stepping forward to help.
"From my hostel," Selena replied with a casual shrug, unfurling the tent. She began organizing the poles and fabric with practiced ease.
Chase stared at the compact bed frame. "Wait... Did you actually carry a bed all the way here?"
Selena just smiled, her soft features radiating calmness. "It's not that far," she said, dodging his question. Then, without waiting for a reply, she crouched down and began setting up the tent.
