BOOOOM! The fireball struck him, propelling him backward. Belinda and Cloris advanced with icy determination. Vines sprouted from the ground, ensnaring the man and hoisting him up.
Crafting an ice thorn, Belinda aimed to impale him, halted only by Kellie's intervention. Puzzled, Kellie surveyed their surroundings. "The snake should be here with him, but so far, we're only seeing him." A sense of foreboding shadowed her heart as she continued searching. Glancing at the band on her arm, time had accelerated once again. They now had less than two hours before being forcibly teleported away from the planet.
"Maybe he's planning a surprise attack," Belinda suggested, glaring at the man with the ice thorn poised threateningly. "Tell us where your snake partner is, or you die."
Rather than cower, the man grinned painfully, his burnt visage making every move agonizing. "You can kill me, but you can't stop it. Hahahahahahahaha."
