"Open the damn door!" Amanda banged desperately on the iron door as cracks appeared in Ryan's made barrier.
"Are you still not running away?" Ryan sat beside Jacob, who anxiously bit his nails and mumbled incoherently to himself.
"The cameras are all disabled. No one is going to pay attention if you teleported now, and the rest of us will die here, and no one will know your secret," Ryan said.
"Huh?" Jacob paused and looked at Ryan incredulously. "What did you say?"
"Don't touch Ryan," Noah intervened, growling dangerously at Jacob and stopping his hand from grabbing Ryan by the collar.
"I don't want to run away. I've spent my whole life running away," Jacob shouted, drawing the attention of the others.
"If you can run away, then please do," Tracy said, folding her arms. "Quite literally, I don't want to die with you."
