Ryan looked back at her expressionlessly; none of what she said was something he asked about.
"That's not what I asked about," He looked at her deeply for a moment until her confidence crumbled and added, "I only ask why you're so scared of seeing dead bodies."
His eyes shifted to the dead bodies, and so did her eyes as she reflexively imitated his movement, and as he inwardly grumbled about people answering questions he didn't ask, he went on to say more.
"From paralyzing children's brains to transplanting monkey brains and treating women and men as baby-making machines, robbing people of their radiation and powers, and treating them as animals in a lab, putting them on chains, and walking them around like dogs, being scared of them doesn't make sense considering the fact you're way stronger."
Ryan tilted his head and asked, "Why are you--?"
