Ryan shrugged and took his seat at the table that was positioned nearby, appearing out of nowhere in the empty throne hall.
He didn't want to talk more than necessary with this eccentric friend of his.
The two stared at each other for a while, Ryan staring straight into Jacob's eyes, forcing the latter to maintain eye contact.
Jacob thought for a second and sat in front of Ryan. He suddenly felt tired and let out a listless sigh. He fought to keep his growing headache to a minimum.
"Are you sure you want to do that?" Suddenly, all his confidence from a moment ago crumbled in an instant, and his introverted, timid nature showed in his question as he looked straight at Ryan, seeing the seriousness in his eyes.
"So, you have made up your mind."
Ryan nodded.
"You're crazy." All sorts of thoughts appeared in Jacob's mind as he looked at Ryan with an odd gaze. He let out a self-deprecating sigh.
