Chapter 178 - Exhausted

"Yo, Marl."

A shout echoed across the filled corridor.

The sound of hurried footsteps came to a sudden halt beside Marl's ears, and before he could fully turn around, Amanda slammed both arms against the wall, trapping him inside, and asked for the nth time in the past two days.

"Have you seen Ryan yet?"

"Maybe he already left." Marl sighed. He was also worried at first, but remembering Ryan's words, he figured that maybe he left.

"He said he would leave in a week; he said he would accompany us inside the dungeon first. He said he would fight properly against Damion before he would leave. Ryan wouldn't just disappear."

"I know you're worried about your friend, but... even if you ask me, I have no idea where he is." Marl wanted to leave, but he couldn't. As a mage who specializes in support, Amanda's grip was too strong for him to shake off.

"Well, I don't believe that." Amanda wasn't doubtful, she was sure he knew.
