"Ayyo, when are we going to arrive?" Amanda complained.
"Don't complain when you're the one who wanted to ride on camels," Tracy said beside her, scrolling through her phone.
"But we're here, in the freaking empire; how can we come all the way here and not ride on a camel's back? You don't see these adorable creatures twice in a lifetime."
Amanda grumbled and pointed at Amelia. "We were lucky to have the princess with us."
"Then don't complain," Tracy rolled her eyes, "we'll arrive when this animal decides it's time to speed up."
The journey through the desert was slow and painstaking.
"But they are very slow." Amanda melted on the camel's back, dragging her words painfully.
"..." Tracy stopped talking; she always, every time, forgot that entertaining Amanda was taboo in her dictionary.
"I just want to grumble; I'm not hurting anyone. Don't listen to me if you don't want to," Amanda sniffled.
