She will never reveal this dark past to anyone about how she trained her body for a long time before she was finally able to jump on the sofa freely.
Yun Xi had a lot of chips packets at home, so she didn't lack food for now. She only focused on training the body to get it worked.
Two month later,
Yun Xi came out of her room at 9 p.m. After she turned into a cat, Yun Xi has been roaming on the night street alone when she finally learned to walk freely with her new body.
And had fun on the streets as much as she wanted, because there was no reason for fear as she didn't have anything with her to be snatched by thieves.
So she came out tonight as well and ran around till 12 a.m. When she came back to her familiar alley, suddenly she realized something.
Usually, this alley will bustle with many people throughout the night. And this never stopped for even one night, because no one really cared about this.
But tonight, wasn't it too quiet?
What happened?
Yun Xi blinked her cat eyes as she moved forward slowly. As soon as she came in front of the building gate, she smelled something strange that made her hair stand on end.
There were two different smells, she was able to tell the difference by using her strong instinct of cat. One of them was very familiar to her.
Yes, it was the smell of blood.
Yun Xi lived 10 years of her life in the hospital. It was something very familiar to her.
Then the other smell was…
Gunshot!?
Looks like someone got injured by it.
Yun Xi was pondering on whether she would look into it or not. But the bloody smell was so strong that she had a hard time denying it.
'Damn!'
She couldn't resist her curiosity. So Yun Xi prepared to go and take a look at the person slowly as she walked forward.
Soon, the smell in the air became stronger than before. Yun Xi also walked according to the direction of smell as she finally came to a dead end of the alley.
'There he is!'
Yun Xi walked closer. Indeed, this person was really injured. But what was he doing here? Why does he look so familiar?
"Meow?"
"Meow?" Yun Xi walked closer as she stood right in front of his face that was drooping down.
"MEOW!?"
She slightly bent down to see the person's face, but she didn't expect to see him here at all!
Jun Shang was injured in a very bad way, and he had already fainted from too much blood draining off his body.
Yun Xi poked his nose cautiously, but there was no movement. He really fainted.
'Tsk, what a bad day!'
Even if she had nothing to do with this character anymore, as a human(Currently as a cat), she can't ignore an injured person and just walk by.
So Yun Xi was thinking of how to help him right now. She can't even move his body to a safe place, how else can she help him?
Suddenly Yun Xi heard a commotion from the outside of the alley. People need to take a U-turn before they come to this place.
Yun Xi went in front of the turn as she saw some people were making a commotion over there. She heard their conversation and understood that they were coming after him.
"He can't run far with that injury!"
"We need to finish him off here before he can escape!"
"But this is a dead end. Will he come to a place like this to die?"
"It's not that sure"
"Even so, what's the problem there to take a look at?"
Yun Xi suddenly had an idea after hearing their conversation.
'Should I give it a go?'
"Meow."
They were talking when a sound came out of the back alley as they saw a little black cat appear in front of them.
"Bad omen," one of them slipped their tongue as he spoke up.
"Meow Meow,"
"Meowwww!"
Yun Xi's blue eyes shined in light, which gave them a bad feeling as they turned around.
"Let's go. Only cats like this one can be found in the back alley, not any human."
"Yes, boss. Let's go," the man looked at the black cat once again before he also went after all of them.
After they disappeared from the road, Yun Xi finally heaved a sigh of relief.
"Meow,"
But there isn't much time left, she still needs to help that man to get into a hospital. Or else, he'll die.
She went back to where Jun Shang was lying, his face didn't seem well. She jumped over the wall to see if she could find anyone or anything to help him.
At the same time, Feng Ming and the others were looking for the injured Jun Shang.
"If we can't find the Young Master, I'm afraid he will lose too much blood," An Ding was anxious.
"Don't say anything, Continue with the search!" Feng Ming was also anxious, but he didn't show it out like An Ding. He knew there is no need to be anxious if they are going to fail in protecting the Young Master.
He wanted to exit the alley and go somewhere else to find the Young Master, but before he could give the order, there was a sound behind them.
"Meow!"
Feng Ming looked back at the wall as he saw a black cat was sitting over the wall. It looked at him as if he almost felt like it wanted to talk to him.
"It's a cat. Don't look at this, we don't have time for it. Let's go!" An Ding didn't want to waste his time on a useless cat, so he gave the order to turn back.
