As usual, the election was held in a different polling unit, and he had an opponent from among other parties. After all the counting, Christopher was said to have the highest count despite the fact that his campaign wasnt as noisy as other had done their, since he had won the hearts of the people.

After be announced as the newly Alabama Governor with Olivia not be able to match as one. He chose among his party, his deputy. Before that, Olivia had met with him, requesting the post of vice president, but Christopher Haven waited for her response for a very long time, and along with the instructions received from the big family club, he declined her request. Olivia returning back home would be a trouble to the family. On the same day he was announced the winner, the big family club fixed a party to celebrate his success and that of his family as well. The whole of Alabama was full of joy and celebrations were ongoing. Hudson was already disappointed after all he had put his trust in, but he didn't mind going further to request that Olivia be appointed to any of the available positions.

"I have lost hope in you; I end up fulfilling my own part of the negotiation, whereas you failed in yours. Now I am a mockery to everyone, including Deborah.Marrying your son has turned out to be a punishment for me because I do not love him." Olivia regret. Her hope in Hudson has already been lost, and she finds it so difficult to continue with Jonathanif only hudson has played his part effectively, she would have love Jonathan companionship, She kept feeling the pain. "Now I can't return peacefully to my mother; she has warned me never to set foot in her house." She said.

"I have done everything in my possession to see that you are rewarded for showing interest in running the position; at least be given a post that fits your endeavors." Hudson said to her. Olivia didn't care at all; in her mind, all hope had been lost. "Soon you will be leaving for a better life, and here am I in disgrace because of your incompetence, but have it in the back of your mind that I and Jonathan won't last longer, and since you failed, I also will pay you back." She told him. Hudson wasn't pleased with her, and he promised to make it right for her during her next run when Christopher is done with his leadership. "I haven't lost all hope; I believe that you will surely get there one day. What you are facing now is normal; it is one of the expected experiences in politics." He spoke.

Three days after Christopher was announced as Governor, He was asked by william to come see him at his house. He arrived and had a seat around the swimming pool in the compound with William. William purpose for calling is to know how effectively Christopher would lead the people—will he do better than hudson or worse? As he began to list his agenda, William was pleased since 90 percent out of his listed agenda was in favor of the people, which all generalized in giving them a better life. He went on by promising that he would also do his best to choose his ministers from among the big family club members.

"I don't think they are ready for that, especially the men; they are tied to their business and won't like to take any of the requests because it will see to them as distractions." William told him. "So choose from those who you think will give you the impact needed in your tenure, and make sure that the country enjoys your tenure better than hudson." He advised him. "I will, and to the appointment, I will still throw the request before the club members, and whoever is interested can be appointed." He said, repeating his words, that non among the club members will accept the opportunity; they prefer to run their business. Hopeton agreed to that with little doubt and made an effort to give it a try. He was surprised to see that none of the club members are willing to take any political appointment; they gave many excuses and placed their interest in the future. So therefore, he made most of his appointment on merit, and not partially. Prior to that, Jonathanhad met with him, pleading on behalf of Olivia for an opportunity to occupy a position, or else he would lose her. "She married you because she was promised by your father to lead Alabama after he had completed his tenure. Well, things are not done like that, and she shouldn't blame you but your father. However, I have given her the opportunity from the very first day she learned about my intention of becoming Governor. But she rejected it and insisted on going with her intention." Speaking while facing each other.

"As it is now, my house is on fire; she won't allow me to rest and hasn't even given me a breathing space. Am the one suffering the incompetence of my father in playing his part and fulfilling his promise. Aside the lack of peace, she is threatening to divorce me." He explained.

Christopher saw him as a weak man, though Jonathan loves his wife, but that shouldn't be a reason why he should be afraid of her plans; he should implement his reason for being the head of the family. "You fear a lot; she is a woman and can't do anything. Go and take charge of your home, and if she divorces you, it's better than living with such a desperate lady. As it is now, all positions have been filled." He added. Jonathan still in confusion; and don't know what to do, in addition be scared of losing Olivia; as his love for her is unmeasurable. "Please do something; I don't want to lose her." He pleaded with him again. Christopher stood on the instructions after hearing how dangerous she is and how, because of her political career, she aborted charles baby, during her relationship with him. "You better be careful with her, that's all I have to say." He stopped there before he will put words in Jonathan mouth that will make him hate his wife Olivia. He ends the conversation by instructing him to go take charge of his home.
