Chapter 21 - Electoral Commission Chairman Eason in support of Christopher

It has begun to fall on Hudson that his tenure of holding the office is about to expire, as the Constitution may have it. The prospective candidates for the office of Alabama have to submit their application to the normal office where their qualifications will be considered.

Hudson, as the incumbent Governor, has to sponsor and bear Olivia details by himself. He started by speaking to the prime minister, Eason, to stand on behalf of Olivia. "It won't be right if I should have you and, at the end, I didn't achieve my purpose of bringing my daughter-in-law into this. You have been in this position, and as such, we are able to build a strong relationship, which means it is time for you to prove your own part of being a minister under my administration." He spoke with the intention of convincing him to consider Olivia first. Eason got what he was up to; he nodded his head; on him, he was putting on his black suit, sitting with Hudson. "Yes, we have gone far, and if I should remember, I got most of my connection from you. Speaking of Olivia being nominated as the incoming Alabama Governor that should come from the electoral committee. Nevertheless, I will try my best. "Remember that Christopher is the heart of the people; if anything goes wrong about it, I won't be able to face it." He told him openly. Hudson became tired upon hearing the word that weakens his bones. "Notwithstanding man, you can still play a vital role in this as I do; it is crucial and must be done." He paused. He also went on to speak good about Olivia before Joey; both as a change person and not minding what people have said regarding her separation with Charles.

"it is well known now that Charles cheated on her during their relationship, which picture is clear seeing Kingston, whom he claim to be his adopted son." He added.

Eason, being wise; he realised how Charles have favour him not because he wanted Christopher to be the next Governor, and this time around, he needed to reciprocate because most of his success came through with the help of Charles, whom have be by his side.

"I don't think charles can do such a thing; he has be a man of integrity, and of a good lifestyle, despite being a billionaire, can't be overemphasized. To speak the fact, the Williams family has contributed much to the success of this country, and fit for any position." Eason told him, speaking from his whole heart.

Hudson isn't pleased with that; he almost went home sad, but that's the truth to say about the family. When he got home, Olivia, who has always been ready to hear how he has gone with the election process, came to meet him. She saw the sad face he put on and wasn't satisfied with that. "I hope he gave you reasons why I should be nominated." She became so inquisitive.

" He has no option but to do so. I have led Alabama and am still on it; power belongs to me, which can't be taken easily. Eason has considered speaking on your behalf, and so he will be the one to speak of your beautiful attitude and qualifications to the public." He lies to her, just to see that she isn't offended.

"I pray he does so; because I am not ready to accept sorry as an excuse which come up as a result of be incompetence from my supporter in playing their part, and as for me, I will like you to always take me along in this." She smartly said this to him in order to show her sense of reasoning. But Hudson realized what she was up to; he only pretended not to know.

The same day, towards evening, Eason visited Christopher, Eason acting to be on Hudson side but not really in support of Hudson being nominated. He then went on to have some talks with Christopher.

"She is a desperate lady and can't lead the country; you can't imagine how she disrespected me, forgetting the fact that Hudson leadership was approved due to my influence." He sounded to Joey.

Eason told him all that Hudson had discussed with him, including his attempt to blaspheme Hudson before him.

"He thought he was smart, but this time around he will surely go down, especially now that Charles is involved," he said. They made ridicule of Hudson, and then after, Christopher spoke with him about how the processing was going. There he was told about his plans to submit his application to the electoral Commission.

"I think it is time you start putting your application, creating more awareness about this. That alone will allow you to go far in the contest." He replied him.

While they almost came to a conclusion, Eason promised to stand by him, and at the end, assured that Olivia is out of the game. "It won't be right to me if she just goes without being handed over a certain position. She is a lady and a young one with passion to rule Alabama, and if I should suggest, I will be happy to make her my vice. She deserves such a position; this is to encourage the female generation and the youth that it is their right, always their right, to fight for what is really right. Christopher spoke with good intention.

"She is selfish, your Excellency; and not really after doing the right thing, instead wanting to fulfill her desire and the promise she made to her father. So it will be right if she steps down." Eason answered him, he wasn't okay with Christopher sympathetic heart. Again, Eason dislikes Olivia with everything in him; he has heard a lot about Olivia, and the most surprising aspect is that Isabella has disclosed Olivia nochalant behavior to him. She made him believe that Renee didn't worth the position.

"It is not a surprise to me that she has never been loved by Isabella; beside, they have lived like cats and dogs. A outcome of her disrespectful act." He balances well on the cushion, ready to speak more. "We just need to be careful; you can't tell what is really on her mind. She is desperate and will always be. Again, remember the power of a woman." He added.

" Am not scared of such power, what matter is that you are the choice of the people." Eason replied.
