Chronia's POV:
When I felt the space-time fluctuations on Earth, I knew it was time. As I prepared to fulfill the responsibilities that everyone in the previous timeline had entrusted to me, I remembered how I got here.
-------
Unknown Location - Unknown Ship - Unknown Time.
"And that's what happened. Now, Chronia, tell me what you have to do," my older sister, or rather, her soul fragment, said to me.
"Should I change certain events in this new time to avoid tragedies?" I asked a little anxiously.
You should know that ever since I can remember, she and the android servants are the only people I have interacted with.
"That's right. Also, you must start acting from Earth, since it will be more difficult to direct some of their actions when my parents are summoned to the New Universe," my older sister, Elizabeth, replied.
"But sister, how will I get there?" I asked, what had me most anxious.
"Don't worry, Chronia. This ship has the coordinates of the dimension where Earth is located. You just have to use your divine sense to locate the souls of Earth, and for that, the crystal also works."
When she mentioned the crystal, I turned my head and on a white pedestal lay the mentioned object, which was the size of an orange and had a mysterious indigo color.
"You can feel the frequency of the souls contained there and with that you can guide yourself to Earth," she continued.
This is possible because the souls in that crystal belonged to many of those participants who were summoned for the battle of the New Universe. And since they still contained the frequency of that dimension, I could scan and find similar frequencies in order to find Earth.
"Sister, I have a small doubt," I said and prepared my words.
"Speak, Chronia. I will answer everything I can," she replied and put on a smile.
"How did you find the coordinates of the dimension where Earth was, if you told me earlier that my father couldn't return there?" I asked that mystery.
"I don't know about that either. After the great war began, one day Dad suddenly approached us and told us that he had found the coordinates of Earth, and so this great plan to reset time began."
"He never told us how he got them, but he was sure that the coordinates would guide us to the dimension where Earth was. It's as mysterious as your origin, Chronia," she said.
"My origin?" I responded. Although I was curious, I never asked out of fear that it was a very delicate topic or something, since she never mentioned it before, and I really wanted to wait until I was older, since currently, according to the androids, I am 12 years old and it could be awkward.
"Yes, your origin, since one day Dad suddenly came and brought us a colorful egg, that egg was you," she said with a complicated expression.
"Just that?" I asked and rolled my eyes, as I expected an epic story or something, but did I just appear out of nowhere?
"Well... Dad just told us that he met a mysterious woman while he was in another world, and she just came and gave him the egg, saying that you were his daughter. Obviously, Dad wouldn't take care of a random egg that was given to him by a stranger, but you had the star mark, which made you his descendant, and that's how they identified you," she responded as if she still had doubts about that version.
"And what happened to her... my mother?" I asked the obvious.
"She magically disappeared... well, not literally, but she did suddenly disappear and Dad couldn't find her."
"..." I couldn't say anything more.
"Oh, but speaking of you, I remember that Dad didn't know what name to give you, so I, who felt that you stank of temporal laws even when you were an egg, thought for a while and named you Chronia, which in one of the worlds I visited meant something like Lady of Time, and I wasn't wrong in giving you that name."
"And since you were still an egg, I, who already had my full dragon form, offered to incubate you like a chicken, so you can also call me your second mother haha," she continued and let out a small laugh.
Considering the fact that you raised me even as a fragment of a soul, I really think of you as my mother...
After that, we had many conversations about different things as I grew up and became stronger.
-----------
How much time has passed? I can't say for sure, as it could have been decades, centuries, or even a millennium.
The reason I don't know exactly is because my older sister ordered all the androids not to keep track of time beyond 24 hours. What's her reason? I have no idea, but if she thinks it's necessary, I won't argue.
What I do feel accurately is how I am becoming stronger thanks to my sister's teachings. And as I grow stronger, her fragment of soul fades away...
Even when I reach a certain level of universal power, I can accurately sense how much time my older sister has left, and that only depresses me more.
------------
The moment has come.
As I trained intensely to forget my pain, my sister called out to me.
"Chronia, come," she said. Although her voice sounded as steady as ever, her volume was lower than usual.
"You should already know how much time I have left," she said to me, and I saw her almost transparent image smile at me.
"Sister..." I said, tears threatening to spill.
"Don't be sad, Chronia. I've prepared something for this day," she said, guiding me towards the ship's library.
I've come to this place countless times and, if anyone asked me the contents of any book in this library, I could confidently answer. But this time, my sister led me to a room I wasn't allowed to enter. The reason being that my sister told me it wasn't time yet. I always wondered when that time would be, but now I understood.
When I entered the room, I saw many crystals resting on a large shelf, arranged in a particular order. Though impressive, what caught my attention the most were six crystals, each with a different color and a different aura.
In one of them, I felt a familiar aura: it was my older sister's aura.
"These crystals contain recordings I made, with the help of the people who appear in them. All of this is in preparation for this day and for you to come here and see their contents if you ever feel lonely. I guarantee you'll forget your loneliness."
"Oh, look there. These colored ones are our sisters' crystals. I even included mine. The crystals contain many experiences and memories of their owners. Look, try this one."
She pointed to a pink one, so I obeyed and, with a bit of my divine power, activated the crystal.
The crystal illuminated the room, and suddenly, I found myself in another place. This place was like a beach, even featuring a beautiful blue sea, but I couldn't enjoy the view because something caught my attention.
In front of me stood a woman, very beautiful, with golden hair and blue eyes, but the most striking were her ears and tail, which made her look like a fox.
"Hello, you must be Chronia, right?" she said directly to me.
Yes, it seemed like she was talking to me, since I didn't find anything else around me.
"Oh, heh, it seems like I'm the first one you're visiting, ehhh..." she said, putting a hand on her chin and nodding.
"Well, this place was created with copies of our neural networks and memories. Everything you see from here on out are places that our original selves visited, and they also contain experiences that they themselves lived through. So you can interact with us here, but remember that this is not reality," she said with a serious voice.
Before I could respond, the space twisted and suddenly, I found myself back in the previous room.
"You must forgive me if I pulled you out at a crucial moment, but I don't have much time left, remember?" my sister spoke to me at my side.
"With this, I'm sure you'll never feel alone, Chronia. So you can visit this place at any time, but you must remember that this is not real," she said with a gentle smile.
Then she walked and her almost transparent hands held a golden-colored crystal.
"This is me, although my personality may be slightly different, rest assured that it's me, and I will also be me when I'm born in that new timeline. So, Chronia, never forget that I and all the others you meet in this place will always support you," she said as her voice grew smaller.
"One last thing, I want you to check the Universal System right when it starts, as I have a feeling that something strange interfered. As you're going to do it, I have no proof, but my senses tell me that something happened there."
"I have nothing else to say except that I'm proud of you, and you don't know how much we all love you, even when you were just an egg. Once again, I love you, my dear chick," she said and her figure disappeared.
I stood still for a long time, remembering her words and etching them forever in my heart.
