"Who is Kris and Arone?"
Their eyes anxiously shifted to one another. They do not fear the names: it's just that, their experience with them was what led things to the worst path. Kris and Arone were once King Liorei's friends, working diligently under the Godfather, who is Daro.
The Godfather is their King, Gerson Liorei is their Prince. Kris and Arone, therefore, were the Knights of Sinister Phantom.
Unhinged and cruel, if they were to rank the three about who's the worst, Gerson Liorei will be a step behind them. At least, Gerson Liorei had a pinch of sanity and kindness left in him. However, within those those two, there was nothing but cruelty and ruthlessness. They tortured people, rape women, killed innocents---all for fun and when they are bored.
In their second timeline, Kris and Arone tortured the newborn Prince Izaac, which led to the berserk of King LIFE, igniting the beginning of the Phantom War they've been craving for and concluded to the victory of the Dragons (or the Dragunovvs and their forces).
"We have no ideas as to what brought them here, too,"
Was the center of their claim, for they do not really know. They had brainstormed so many possibilities, created various theories, and even asked the God of Time himself, Prince Astaroth, but all he could say was:
"I am not allowed to."
"Was it because of this?" Voltage Xirquit mutter after remembering all the times he tried to ask the Prince about. Not just it, but other matters as well.
"It's because if he told us then, the future will change?"
"Then, what does their undefined arrival has something to do with the future?"
"Or maybe the past. They are the ones who cursed her, Azarese. And to think they'd be the first humans to be here..." Paris Kean bit his thumb as he dig into his thoughts deeper.
"What about your side, Ki'zaar? How did you know Kris and Arone?"
The Ki'zaar stood still. He's staring at them sternly but not hostile. He looked down to Prince Valerian who's still eating mangoes, but staring at him. Then to his Mi'zaar who was waiting for his answers.
"We received an oracle from the moons about the arrival the name's knights."
"What 'the name'? Knights? They're knights to whom?"
King Liorei, freed from Hands, felt his heart skip a beat as he turn pale and stiff.
The Ki'zaar breathed in, preparing himself---but he doesn't want to say it.
"Only the Ki'zaar or Mi'zaar of our blood would know the sanctified names of the important figures related to our beginnings. Just like the name of our Patron Deity, the name of the moons, and the names of everything our Patron Deity had created---are kept only to us, for they've been labeled as 'evil'. And those who will speak of it will be 'cursed'."
"But we won't. Because we're on your side," Aloisia reasoned.
"And how can you be so sure, when each of you turned your backs on me and left me to despair?" Azarese spite, silencing them deeply with guilt.
"I could only give you the translations of the sanctified name. But the name itself, I can't."
To which they all agreed.
The Ki'zaar closed his eyes and asked for the moons' guidance. Then, he opened his eyes again now that he's been given permission to.
"According to the moons, the name meant: God of Chaos, Light, and Darkness. It was not certain, they did not directly implied it, but I had my notion that the name was for our Patron Deity's offspring. The name was first revealed to our grandfather, passed down to my father, and then to me. After I exacted my vengeance, I received an oracle."
"Before that, what is the difference between an oracle and a prophecy in the context of this world?" Emperor Maxism clarified when he's finally pulled himself together. He will take his son's remains one way or another.
"Both are has something to do with the future. However, our oracle meant a prophecy that came directly from the future, divined to us by the moons. It is not just a mere prediction but a definite and inevitable event that cannot be changed even if we were to try," Priedo answered.
"But your Patron Deity was banished. How could she conceive? Did she conceive the child by herself? Or did the child emerged out of nowhere just like the Creator?" Emperor Ohms.
"What do you think, Watts Xirquit?" The Ki'zaar fixed his attention to whom might be the wisest among them.
Watts Xirquit was surprised.
"Well... If it's a God, then it must be a man. Chaos, Light and Darkness... Three elements. Your Patron Deity is the Deity of Darkness, so the child must've inherited that from her. Chaos is a bit...complex for me. What kind of 'chaos', maybe? War? The void?"
"And what about for the 'Light'?" Azarese.
Watts stared at her for a second, then to the Ki'zaar, then to his family...and lastly to King Liorei who was hyperventilating.
"The Deity of Light of this world is Lleu, the twin of the Deity of Darkness. Maybe it has something to do with her since she would make the Aunt of the child. Inheritance. The child must've inherited the Light of his Aunt."
"No..." King Liorei objected with a falter.
He sat while on his knees, clutching his tightening chest as he look at the Ki'zaar with tearful eyes. They couldn't understand why he was crying. Why does he looked so pained and confused?
"I-It's not because of L-Lleu... B-Because... The boy... When he was born, he became the first light born from darkness, the first light who illuminated the darkness..."
He pushed himself up, feet wobbling as he trace his way to the Ki'zaar whose expression cannot be described.
King Liorei held on his arms tight, "A-Am I right? That was the second translation of his name, right? No. Tell me that I was wrong instead. Tell me I'm wrong. P-Please... Tell me I'm w-wrong..."
Prince Valerian looked deep into King Liorei. He didn't mean to, he had no intentions to, but the dream the King had flashed before his eyes.
"Speak, goddammit, you dragon! Tell me I was wrong, or I will speak of that name! Because I---My mother! MY MOTHER! Speak! Tell me it's not I you're referring to, Ral'zunr Liorei!"
Both almost fell together upon hearing the sanctified name. The Ki'zaar's hands were shaking as he held on him back.
Skadi Eira opened her eyes and found the moons shining over her whilst the sun is still peaking. Slowly, the moons aligned. Their spiraling gleam pass through the roofs of the Palace. Their eyes did not hurt from the blinding light that shone over them. From it they see flowing fabrics as a figure descend from the moons.
Its form is delicate, almost translucent, appearing as though woven from mist and starlight. The spirit's eyes are vast and deep, like pools of moonlit water, reflecting both the serenity and mystery of the cosmos. The crown on its head...is a full moon.
The spirit moves with a fluidity that mirrors the gentle flow of water or the quiet drift of clouds. Wisps of luminescent light trail behind it, casting faint glows and creating soft halos wherever it goes.
It smiled peacefully with eyes closed. A symbol formed before her mouth, then spoke with softly with a melody, "I greet the creations of Our Mother. I am the spirit of the moons' alignment, Stellandriavia. I am here to see who spoke of His sanctified name."
The spirit's gaze swept over them, and with each silent moment, the Earthlings felt a peace unlike any they had known. Words felt too crude, too simple, to express the moment, so they said nothing, allowing the beauty of the encounter to wash over them.
Until her eyes landed on the King. She float towards him and studied his face. Her face was straight, eyes filled with wonder.
Slowly, the spirit reached out for his face. As she lightly touch him, barely touching him, her translucent body manifested with flesh. Just then, she threw herself on him and squirmed.
"Oh, Great God of Chaos, Light, and Darkness! Please take me as your wife!"
Their jaws dropped.
King Liorei's eyes instantly stopped from shedding tears and was astounded from the scene that just happened. The spirit laugh rhythmically while embracing his body. The moons drifted away from their alignment. Her sisters followed, all were beauties of their own, dressed in silk robes of pastel colorful of the stars. And all four of them threw themselves to him.
"Great God of Chaos, Light, and Darkness! Please, take me as your wife, too! Kyah!"
Skadi Eira's face twitched from the revolting sight: so she was the last to descend. With a swipe of her hand, the spirits were thrown very far---so far that they reached the other side of the continent.
They gasped, Solana's face light up.
"Mommy!" She ran to her mother and hugged her leg. Skadi Eira who just showed herself again looked so pissed and irritated.
"That was your entrance?" Azarese scoffed. Her brow arched when His Equal turned to her with a glare.
"Shut up. I haven't forgotten about your fault."
"What are you saying?"
"Don't play dumb with me! After your ventures from the Wall, you have forgotten about me!"
Azarese blinked...then slowly drifted her gaze away from her, "Oh..."
"Don't 'oh' me!"
The spirit sisters returned with a foul mood.
"If it's not the gullible one. The archenemy of us!"
Their pretentious 'cutesy' voices (for Skadi Eira) irked her so much.
The Ki'zaar, on the other hand, collapsed and fainted from shock. The Archmages were down to their knees and heads, chanting praises and songs for the spirits.
It must be really him, for them to descend just from the iteration of his name.
Ral'zunr Liorei, the God of Chaos, Light, and Darkness.
"Heh. That's not how I remembered you sound like, bugs of moons. Really? Coming down just to flock on your Patron Deity's son? What lecherous bitches!"
"Kyaaah!" The spirit sisters squealed when Skadi Eira raised her hand to punish them again, when King Liorei stopped her.
"Don't hurt them. They're not doing anything to you," he said, winning the spirit sisters' hearts more.
"As expected of you, a womanizer, of course you loved their attention."
She forcefully get her hand back from his grip.
And the King scoffed with a smirk as he wipe the tears off his face, "And what does it have to do with His Equal, I wonder? They are my... They are my mother's creations. It would be right to be fond of them, right?"
"Yes, tell it, Our Divine Grace!"
"Shut up, you bugs!"
Solana's innocent eyes looked up to King Liorei. She shy away from him and hid behind her mother.
The spirits flocked around King Liorei with Stellandriavia all over him. We can say that the spirit of the moons alignment is the most beautiful among her sisters right now. Her hair is dark and flowing like they have a life of their own.
"Our Divine Grace, we've been waiting for you. You have finally revealed yourself. We've been waiting for you to claim your name, don't you know that? Finally, our Mother will be avenged,"
And so, the spirits cried in harmony.
"I expect you will tell me everything you know," says the King as he take Stellandriavia's hand. The spirit, coy, blushed while looking at him with dreamy eyes.
"Yes... We will serve you without fail, Our Divine Grace. We will tell you anything, but not everything. There's a limit to what we can say. I hope you understand. Please, hold me. Our Divine Grace, you are the most wonderful being I have ever seen in my whole life!"
Not only Skadi Eira but Azarese felt annoyed at the eye-hurting scene that's happening before them.
"Can you not? You're a sore to my eyes."
That got the spirits' attention. Suddenly, the sisters' foreheads light up with a symbol as they talk to each other telepathically.
"The dragon descent's mate," Stellandriavia spoke with the use of the symbol over her mouth. She was serious, "I never thought a day would come that we will meet face to face."
"We shouldn't have, because you're ugly and annoying as fuck. All that grandeur just to cling on your brother. Slut."
Emperor Ohms unconsciously hold her hand. When they see each other, he shook his head to her.
"You should watch your mouth. You will never want the darkness to visit you. Think about what happened to the previous Princes. That is, if you're wise."
The four other spirits chuckled to themselves, "Foolish Princess. Don't provoke our sister Stellandriavia~ She can bring you back to your hell!"
As Azarese's sight reddened, her lips stretched into a wicked smirk that made the spirits tremble. It made even Stellandriavia falter.
"You bitches dared to threaten me, the conqueror of lands and heavens? If you're composed of wisdom and memories, then you must've known about my Conquest. Don't fuck with me: I can punch a hole to those moons."
"This is why your fate is cruel to you. You're just as cruel, Wicked Empress of Heart!"
Hands wrapped themselves around Stellandriavia's neck tightly until it snapped.
"I, cruel? Was I cruel as a child? No. Because as far as I remember, before this Azarese was Golden Azarese. That was the good in me. No child was born cruel! It only become one because of YOU!"
Hands brought the spirit to her where Azarese clawed her face, infecting her.
"Between us, you are the human," Azarese whispered to the spirit with a vicious grin as she watch her infection spread.
Stellandriavia screamed as she touch her face that's starting to decay.
"No! My face! MY FACE! AZARESE ELYZENA---!"
Not backing down without a fight, Stellandriavia summoned a primordial spirit aimed at her belly. Prince Valerian stepped in and spread his hands apart, creating a barrier between them.
"STOP!"
"Dragon descent---! I am one of your lords! How dare you stand against me!?"
Prince Valerian didn't like her audacity and raised his hand. When he clenched his fist, one of the moons burst, and the spirit of that moon began to crumble at the same time.
"S-Sister! Aaahhhh! M-My body! My body! Kyaaah!"
Azarese shockingly covered her grinning mouth as she observe her furious son. Meanwhile, Prince Maximilien's eyes glimmered with amusement from the power his elder brother just exercised.
He destroyed a moon with just clench of his fist.
Prince Valerian is really angry.
Prince Valerian took a step forward, then anogher, and another. Every step he take, he's growing into a form of a man. His hair grew long. The markings on his body and his eyes glow so very brightly that a touch of it will burn one. His horns grows long on his forehead as he flex his dragon hands.
"I acknowledge no other lord but my father, my mother, my Kuya Zoddy, and our Patron Deity. Who do you think you are to challenge me? I am the blood of Zin Draji Teivel and Warlock! I won't take a puny spirit such as you as my lord."
He raised his hand and clawed Stellandriavia, piercing through her very being as a spirit.
"You were aiming for my baby brother, weren't you just now? Apologize to my mother and baby brother. APOLOGIZE NOW!"
Prince Valor, carrying their youngest brother, ran to the Ki'zaar who is still unconscious in his throne.
"B-Brother! Brother, wake up! WAKE UP!"
The Ki'zaar flinched awake and looked around. His eyes widened from the appearance and dissolving aura of his grown son. The Earthlings were vomiting blood and their flesh was getting burned by his aura alone. Yet no one, even those who were able, want to stop the Prince from executing his mercy.
"My sweet dragon...!"
The Ki'zaar stand up at once when Azarese stopped him by holding his hand.
"No. Watch, Valtyremius. That's our son. Look at him, Valtyremius. Our boy is so wonderful," she said with stars in her eyes. Even Prince Vars. He was dancing and clapping. He was not affected by his brother's aura at all, all thanks to his magic resistance and immunity.
But Stellandriavia didn't want to hurt her own pride. So, she challenged him more.
"I-If you destroy me and my s-sisters, y-you will never see your b-brother. T-That egg---can't live without moonlight---"
Prince Valerian choked her harder.
"You mustn't worry about that. I will make one specially for my little brother."
The Ki'zaar relieved his wife's hold on him and
"Valerian, go back to your senses, my son!"
He pulled the Prince to face him and was fallen into dread when he saw the look on his son's face.
Destruction.
"N-No... No, my son. Please, go back to your senses. My boy,"
The Ki'zaar felt weak and touched the Prince's face. It burned him, but that's nothing compared to what's about to happen if the Prince goes on with his fury.
Princess Lorreign is watching attentively, not letting a single detail out of her sight.
Prince Vyldread rested on his nephew's head when he smelled a very 'delicious' aura near him. He's still awake but the smell lured him. And now, he's feeding on his nephew's deliciously raw power. In return, Prince Valerian will calm down.
"My sweet boy," the Ki'zaar softly murmured as he take his son in his arms.
"He's so pretty. Wow~" Solana, who can't read the room, complimented while giggling. Prince Valerian in his grown man form is more ethereal and surreal than the spirits.
"D-Daddy?"
Solana felt cold chills spiked down her spine when she heard his deep voice.
"Mommy!" she squeaked and ran to her mother's protection.
"Shh... You're sleepy. Rest, my beautiful, sweet dragon. I will be here."
"I feel hot... Why? My mind... Someone... Daddy, someone is watching. I'm scared. Daddy, I'm scared."
"Don't be. Daddy is here. I am here. Now, close your eyes and feel peace. Daddy will stay here to watch you sleep."
The Prince indeed closed his eyes but with tears. Azarese sat beside them and touched her son's face. She was not harmed.
"Mommy is here, too. Whoever that is, I will catch it and kill it. Sleep well, my boy."
At last, the Prince felt relieved now that his mother assured him. The Ki'zaar reverted his form into a child's. They stand up and looked at Stellandriavia.
"M-My sister... H-Help destroyed h-her!"
The Ki'zaar looked to where her sister is. Her spirit is crumbling slowly and the particles of the moon outside will soon rain down to the surface like asteroids.
Instead of helping them, the Ki'zaar sneered.
"And whose fault is that?"
