Time moved quickly Naomi and Abyss had already gotten married and she had gotten used to her new vampiric nature. It took a while but under abyss's strict training she quickly adapted to her new identify. IN THE FIRST ROUND EACH GROUP WILL BE TELEPORTED TO A DIFFERENT TERRAIN WHERE THEY HAVE TO USE TACTICS AND TEAMWORK TO RECOVER AN ITEM FROM A HORDE OF MONSTERS... THE FIRST THREE TEAMS TO RETURN WILL MOVE ON TO THE NEXT ROUND WHILE THE REMAINING TEAMS WILL AWAIT FURTHER INSTRUCTIONS AND WITHOUT FURTHER ADO 3,2,1"

The buzzer sounded and all six teams where sent to different terrains whereas abyss's team was sent to an active volcano, they item there looking for is atop the volcano, suspended in the air above the volcano .
"Hey you first year stay behind us and try not fall behind... weakling" a fourth year boy said to abyss, he's name is Sam. "No problem, just pretend I'm not even here" abyss said. "You didn't need to tell us that was the idea from the start" a third year girl said to him, her name was Tammy. The second year girl was named Rivera.

taught a lesson* abyss thought with a smile that quickly disappeared, if anyone were to see that smile they would think of abyss as a psycho. He leaked some of his mana to strengthen the monsters and increase their numbers.

The ground shaked as if thousands of feet were running on top of it. "What is that" Rivera said while pointing at the top of the volcano. "Oh no" Tammy said. At the top of the volcano many lava monsters were coming out of the inside of the volcano they numbered at roughly a thousand or perhaps more.

On the outside those who were watching on the screens we're shocked to see what abyss's group were facing, the tournament managers could only hope for their safety as once they were in they could not interfere until the item was recovered.
Many monsters ranging from lava wolves, wyverns, tigers, golems ran down the mountain 🏔️ to attack abyss's group. Abyss sank into his shadow and went to observe from afar. "Come on this is no time to be frightened, Tammy use your diamond ability to harden your body and ram those guys , Rivera use your buffs on us and yourself, you and will cut them down , abyss use your water magic to slow them down"sam quickly gave orders to everyone, showcasing his leadership skills even in dangerous times.
" Ok let's go"Tammy and Rivera said in unison. They wondered why abyss didn't reply and when they turned their heads they were shocked to see abyss was nowhere to be found. " Fuck he ran away when needed to use his water magic... Damnit! ".Sam said in anger. " What do we do now Sam"Rivera asked. " Proceed as planned we'll have to manage without him"same said.
With that Sam used his skill berserker while Rivera buffed put buffs on all three of them, he's skin turned darked and his height and muscles grew larger and his eyes turned red. Sam ran and began crushing the monsters with his superior strength.
"We can do this" Rivera said and used speed and strength type buffs on herself, she unsheathed her sword 🗡️ and ran and breakneck speed slicing and beheading the monsters.
"Diamond armour " Tammy said and a blue crystal armour appeared covering her whole body, the armour around her hands elongated and turned into blades "ahhhhhhhhh" with a war cry Tammy ran and rammed into the the monsters crushing them and she began cutting them into pieces.
"Foolish children" abyss said with amusement while watching the kidz fighting from afar.
In around 20 minutes the monster horde was reduced to pieces. But seconds later more monsters began pouring out of the volcano 🌋 shocking the three students.
"Fuck were dead" Tammy said. "Don't give up now we can still win this" Sam said but even he himself was beginning to feel afraid. They kept fighting until they were feeling tired"Rivera look oooooout" Sam screamed,then when a monster was about to bite off Rivera's unprotected neck , a blue light flashed.

"That'll teach em to not be arrogant though I guess I better save them now as one of the is about to die" abyss said then "Lightning blade:Blue flash" abyss said and shot out at an incredible speed. "Rivera look oooooout" Sam screamed when he saw his girl about to be killed then suddenly a blue flash of appeared slicing the monster in half then in seconds , sliced all the monsters near them into pieces.
The blue light stopped Infront of them and disappeared revealing abyss's smiling face.

All three exclaimed at the same time, surprised to see abyss who they thought was a weakling appearing to kill the the monsters in seconds as if they were nothing. Abyss said nothing and turned towards the mountain 🏔️ and "Arise my children" abyss said and a black cloud appeared and out of it fifty undead wolves appeared Infront of abyss .
"Go forth and and rip them to pieces my children" abyss said and the fifty four meter tall wolves ran up the volcano 🌋 using their teeth and claws to rip the lava monsters into pieces, they left nothing but carnage in their path , this all lasted for 2 minutes.
When abyss arrived at the top of the mountain 🏔️ he still hadn't said a word to the others and he merely held out his hand and the bone cup floating at the middle of the volcano 🌋 flew to his hand ✋.As soon as it touched his hand they disappeared and reappeared at the tournament stage were cheers rang out as the lunar academy came in third managing to go to the next round.
"LADIES AND GENTLEMAN THE LUNAR ACADEMY COMES IN THIRD MANAGING TO SECURE A SPOT IN A NICK OF TIME... NOW ALL THE TEAMS CAN GO ON A 1 HOUR BREAK IN THEIR RESPECTIVE ROOMS AS FOR THE LOSERS SORRY WE HOPE YOU TRY AGAIN NEXT YEAR" The announcer said
Abyss didn't say much and merely headed to his room where Naomi was waiting for him. About 3 minutes later he arrived to find Naomi pacing back and forth in the room. The room like all the others didn't have much in just a set of leather sofas, a coffee table in the middle, a high sealing and brown painted walls on each side.
"Honey 🍯 I'm home "abyss said while walking into the room . After he closed the door Naomi ran into his arms and kissed him. " How come you didn't tell me you were that strong, when I saw that monster horde i thought I was going to lose you, I was so scared "Naomi asked with tears in her eyes.
Abyss walked to the long sofa while carrying Naomi in his arms, he then sat on it while she sat on his lap. Abyss then wiped her tears while caressing her hair" I'm sorry 😔 I scared you but didn't I tell you there's no one in this world 🌍 that can hurt me"abyss said. " I just thought you were being arrogant but seeing that display of power reassured me of your safety, I was so scared "Naomi.
" Don't cry Naomi it pains me to see your tears and as long as I'm still alive I do not wish to see your tears unless they are that of joy "abyss said and kissed her on the lips.😘
Sam, Tammy and Rivera walked in whilst abyss was kissing Naomi.

All three exclaimed in unison but all for different reasons while Tammy and Rivera were surprised to find abyss kissing a another girl, Sam was shocked by her sheer beauty.
Although everyone knows this Sam was still shocked to see that the most beautiful girl in school is actually abyss's girlfriend. Abyss stopped kissing Naomi and looked towards the three who just entered and smiled at them.
"Why so surprised seniors, come in and sit down" abyss said with a smiling face.
