(A/N: Change to Ethan...)

Ethan already knew what to expect for this martial arts tournament, after all, he still remembered thanks to having his soul infused with a Manas. His memories wouldn't simply disappear; the impressive thing during these 3 years between the last martial arts tournament.

He was very pleased to see that Towa and Mirai were well-received by other family members, as well as Violet and Mai. Violet and Mai were simple women given their "military" lives; Violet would easily try to seduce someone in a position of power. After all, she just wanted an easy life, and now she found one. Mai, on the other hand, was better off after being simply abandoned by her master. After all, there is a limit to loyalty.

Now we are all ready to deal with all this, and quite obviously for the plot to follow the last year when we made the Dragon Ball wish, we let them spread so that Piccolo could regain his youth. ["Why did you do that? Well, the answer is kind of obvious. I didn't know how to bring the original Piccolo back to life."]

Ethan registered along with Gina to participate in the Preliminaries, as did Krillin and Yamcha. That's when the Kame School group saw the Crane School group, Master Shen, Tien Shinhan, and Chiaotzu. An extremely oppressive silence fell around.

The atmosphere became dense with the encounter between the two rival groups. Master Shen's challenging gaze echoed across the battlefield, while Tien Shinhan maintained a serious posture and Chiaotzu hovered by his side.

Ethan, always calm, exchanged glances with Krillin and Yamcha, indicating that he was ready for the challenge. Gina, by his side, held her energy staff, ready to act at any moment.

Suddenly, a strong wind cut through the tense silence. The Preliminaries were about to begin, and the energies of the competitors intertwined, creating a peculiar symphony.

The Crane School group also registered.

"I see there are many participants from your Kame school," Master Shen said casually.

"Yes, we have the best participants in this tournament. I think your students will be out of the Semifinals," Kame said, affirming that his students would eliminate all of them.

"Hahahaha, a joke coming from you. How would that really happen? I came here to prove that the Crane School is the best martial arts school!" Master Shen said, growing impatient with Master Kame, mocking him and his students.

"We'll see, old friend. We'll see..." Master Kame said softly, watching the departure of his ex-friend.

"And... I think I'm starving..." Gina said, cutting the tense atmosphere for everyone.

Oolong the pig just gave a sidelong glance. (A/N: Oolong and Launch appeared to see the tournament. This is probably where Launch falls in love with Tien Shinhan.)

"Hmph... as if they were going to win again... tsk..." grumbled the blonde woman who was supposed to fall in love with Tien Shinhan.

Fortunately, I didn't have to wander like Goku for 3 years around the planet. Basically losing 3 years going around the planet doing nothing.

"Here's the bill!" said the cashier. Ethan was paying the bill, but he still couldn't believe how much he and the other two Saiyans ate. With wide eyes, Ethan paid his bills, and everyone returned to have fun and then the next day to fight in the martial arts tournament.

Ethan's group returned to the tournament the next day, refreshed and eager for the next fights. The atmosphere vibrated with energy as the warriors prepared for the Preliminaries.

The announcer's voice echoed through the stadium, announcing the next matchups. Expectations grew, and looks crossed between competitors. Ethan, Gina, and Yamcha were determined to show their strength.

There were many participants in the tournament, some were newcomers, others were older. Just like our still unformed Z warriors.

World Martial Arts Tournaments - 22nd

In the preliminaries

"All right! Now I declare this martial arts tournament open! I'm happy to welcome you. We will begin the Preliminaries of the Martial Arts Tournament," said the referee who will judge the participants in their elimination.

"Now, each of you must draw a paper so that we all know who will fight whom. Very well, draw the papers," said another martial arts tournament referee.

The first to fight in this tournament was Yamcha, the Yamcha participant seemed intimidated, grabbed wooden boards to break them in front of him. All to prove his power in front of them.

"Don't worry, kid, I won't break your face," said the man who was fighting against Yamcha.

"It's okay, nothing will happen anyway," Yamcha said much more confidently, as if he could beat Ethan this time.

"Aaaaaaaaaaaarrrrg!" said the man launching himself at Yamcha.

Whoosh!

Bang!

And the man was already knocked out with a simple punch!

**

Next up was Krillin, again not lucky, and he's fighting a very big guy. A Giant! Right after the fight started, Krillin was overwhelmed by the giant. Being grabbed by the giant, but Krillin was able to easily get away from being grabbed. After that, Krillin quickly delivered a judo blow, knocking him out in one hit.

Clapping his hands, cleaning dirt off the floor.

**

Tien Shinhan had a mocking look, clearly not believing that there would be anyone in the group stronger than him. After all, he was stronger at the Crane School. Krillin said:

"They are disciples of the Crane School, which already seems very suspicious," Krillin questioned.

Gina quickly remembered what Ethan said about them and that he had killed Tao Pai Pai, the master of the academy's brother. And that this man might come to kill him. Although he won't be able to hurt or scratch a hair on him.

"I just came here to tell you to give up. After all, no one will be able to defeat me in this Tournament! I am the strongest," Tien Shinhan said arrogantly, showing that he needed a severe correction.

"You're lucky you didn't end up against me, or else I would have eliminated you," Tien Shinhan said again.

"What?" said a shocked Yamcha. Clearly in doubt about the other party's victory.

Both stared at each other, and the situation was becoming more and more tense.
