Note: This is one of my first fanfictions. English is my second language and I'm still learning it, so don't expect the most impeccable writing from me. I had this idea for a while and I wanted to bring it to life, so I started writing. I appreciate any helpful feedback. Also, again I don't own anything except my own MC and I don't want to offend any party. This is just for entertainment. enjoy~

(A/N: Ethan's POV and Third Person Author)
Ethan spotted Mai passing by the window, realizing she might try to notify Pilaf or Shu. So Ethan decided to incapacitate or grab her. Without wasting time, Ethan moved swiftly.
Whoosh! *
"Stop!" Ethan said in Mai's ear. He was behind her, covering her mouth with his hand and restraining her movements.
"Well... well... what do we have here..." Ethan said, now noticing Mai's beauty.
"Do you know where the Dragon Ball is? If so, nod your head up and down for a positive answer," Ethan asked, still pressing her.
Nodding her head *
"Good," said Ethan, quickly using creation magic to place a gag over Mai's mouth. He then promptly handcuffed her.
Bulma was the first to approach, flying toward Ethan and noticing the proximity with the tied-up girl, but she came up with a sarcastic remark.
"Oh, Ethan! I didn't know you liked doing this kind of thing with strangers," Bulma said, observing the two.
Ethan rolled his eyes at her and replied, "She knows where the last Dragon Ball is," with a smile.
"Hehehe..." Gina smiled at the whole situation.
"Well, then... let's just get the Dragon Ball without wasting any time," Bulma said, looking at the Dragon Radar.
**
Ethan, Mai, Bulma, and Gina continued their search for the Dragon Ball, following the radar's directions. As they moved toward the next location, Gina couldn't help but find the situation quite amusing.
"You humans are truly interesting. Your emotions and actions are so unpredictable," Gina commented, still smiling.
Bulma, accustomed to Gina's somewhat peculiar nature, just shrugged and focused on finding the next Dragon Ball. She knew time was of the essence, as Pilaf could be approaching the balls as well.
Ethan kept Mai handcuffed but didn't want to be cruel or unfair to her. He had no intention of hurting her; he only needed the information to gather the Dragon Balls before they fell into the wrong hands. At the same time, he felt some sympathy for Mai, as it seemed she was more of a follower of Pilaf rather than a villain by her own will.
Arriving at the next location indicated by the radar, they found the Dragon Ball in a small hidden room in Pilaf's castle. Luckily, there was no one around, making the collection easy.
Bulma carefully took the ball and stored it. "Great! Now we just need to summon Shenlong in an open area. Let's keep going to get out of here."
As they prepared to leave Pilaf's castle and flew to their next destination, Ethan looked at Mai, still handcuffed and gagged. He hesitated for a moment and decided to remove the tape from her mouth.
"Mai, you don't need to remain loyal to Pilaf. He's not exactly the kind of person worth associating with. There's much more to life than blindly serving someone. Consider this an opportunity to change course," Ethan said sincerely.
Mai looked at him with a mix of suspicion and curiosity. She mumbled some words, but the tape was still tied around her hands, so her words were inaudible.
"Come on, Ethan, I don't believe she'll switch sides so easily," Bulma interrupted the moment.
"You never know until you try," Ethan replied with a slight smile.
"Ethan is right, sis. And it would be an inspiring story to read. The redemption of a woman who turned away from evil and found her way between good and evil. I can already envision the book's title," said Tights, who had taken advantage of her vacation to gather a range of new "knowledge" for her future releases.
"What do you mean? I mean... it's hard to believe. Look at her. She spent her entire life following someone, and after hearing a few magical words, she would just abandon the guy?" Chi-Chi brought reality to everyone's attention. After all, all Mai had ever done in her life was serve someone, so what else could she do?
"We could try something similar to what we did with Violet and hire Mai to take care of the Resort we built on Mount Paozu. Perhaps start in the food industry. There's a large area of uncultivated land with tall grass on the mountain. Maybe we can plant there. What do you think?" Ethan tried to find a middle ground for them.
"It might work, considering Violet needs someone with her there. Besides you, Ethan, who regularly visits. Chi-Chi and Gina do too. Maybe she needs more consistent company, who knows," Bulma weighed in, considering her studies, post-graduations, and work at Capsule Corporation, she didn't visit the region as frequently.
"Definitely worth a try," Gina agreed, supporting the idea of giving Mai a chance to rediscover her life and change her path.
Chi-Chi sighed and shrugged. Though skeptical, she was willing to give the idea a chance. "Well, it doesn't hurt to try, but don't expect miracles."
Excited about the prospect of an emotional story for her future literary releases, Tights already imagined the plot of Mai's possible redemption. "Yes, it will be an incredible story! A former villain finding her true calling and building a new life at Mount Paozu Resort."
Ethan smiled at his family's receptiveness to the idea. He knew Violet, a former member of the Red Ribbon Army who now worked with him at the Resort, could understand Mai's situation better than anyone else. Perhaps Mai could find a purpose and a new family at the location.
**
After everyone flew away from Pilaf's Castle.
"Mai, you are free now." As soon as they landed, Ethan carried Mai and removed her restraints. Mai, feeling embarrassed for being carried and not having said anything to them throughout the entire journey, murmured a thank you. "Thank you," she whispered, thinking no one would hear, but they all had super hearing. Clearly, everyone heard and had a smile on their faces.
"Now, the main question is..." Ethan said, making a dramatic pause to capture everyone's attention.
"Who will make the wishes? And which wish to make first?" Ethan continued, proposing an idea to follow. The girls looked at each other and remembered a wish they needed to make.
"We'll use the First wish. We don't need the others," Gina said, becoming serious to show her determination.
"Alright. I have only one wish as well. And the Last one, I'll use to try to locate where Gero is. After all, he could be a big problem in the future," Ethan said, still concerned about Gero, despite having the SSJ blue transformation.
"Okay, then." Bulma took the lead and moved to the front, placing all seven Dragon Balls on the ground.
SHING SHING SHING SHING SHING SHING! *
The Dragon Balls shimmered intensely, foreshadowing something significant to come.
"Come forth, Shenlong! And grant my wish!" Bulma shouted, raising her arms up as if she needed to summon the Dragon.
SHING SHING SHING SHING SHING SHING BOOOOOOoooooOOOOOM! *
