Bulma, Ethan, and Tights took turns driving towards the fifth Dragon Ball. They had already set off and spent some time at the resort that was built near Mount Paozu.
After setting off towards the fifth Dragon Ball, Ethan and his companions happily embarked on their journey without rushing to finish it with just one, singular desire to complete it together.
(A/N: This was the change that occurred after they thought Ethan died in Gero's explosion. Now they know he's not guaranteed. "But the Dragon Balls could bring him back after the upgrade.")
After a day of traveling after leaving the path of Mount Paozu, Ethan spotted a turtle crawling on the ground.
"Look, there's a sea turtle on land. I think we should see what happened to it, maybe we can help," Ethan said with enthusiasm. He vividly remembered Master Roshi's turtle and that he hadn't taken it with him.
"Why would we stop for it? It doesn't make sense, you know? It's just a turtle. It has nothing to do with us," Bulma snapped.
"Well, maybe you'd be surprised if you heard it. Well, let's just say I know whose turtle it is," Ethan said, sounding slightly less enthusiastic than before.
"So you want us to go there. These things don't work anymore," Gina said with a sarcastic smile.
"But I'm willing to be properly influenced by you," Gina said, raising an eyebrow. "I'll be properly influenced, you can be sure of that," Ethan said, understanding well what he would do later.
Vrooom!*
Creak!*
Four women and one man stepped out of the vehicle.
Slam!*
As they closed the door of the motorhome, the turtle, which was still moving in the direction the vehicle was being driven, quickly turned its head upon seeing the vehicle stop and its occupants get out. The turtle's face showed great relief.
"Huff! Finally, someone!" the exhausted turtle exclaimed.
"Wow, it talks," Tights said wide-eyed, as she had never seen a talking turtle before.
"If you'll allow me to ask, I've been thirsty for a long time without drinking any water. Do you have saltwater and algae?" the talking turtle asked.
(A/N: He really asks for this. For us humans, saltwater is even deadly to drink. Well, I don't know how it works for a sea turtle.)
"I have it in my capsules!" Bulma exclaimed cheerfully.
After the turtle was served and treated very well, it seemed to be holding back from asking a question.
"Turtle, it seems to me that you want to ask a question. So go ahead," Ethan said, feeling amused by it all.
(A/N: For those who mentioned that it was too short, thank you very much!!! You were right, when I transferred from Patreon to here!, I made a mistake and only uploaded half of the chapter.
Now it's complete. Sorry for the error. In the past few days, besides studying and working, I had to go to the bank and see a doctor, so you can imagine waking up at 5 in the morning and going to bed at 2 in the morning. Finally, on my day off, I managed to sleep for 12 hours straight and I'm feeling better now.)
The face of the turtle that was still now lit up with full intensity.
"Y-yes, of course. Well, I wanted to know where the direction to the sea is because I don't know where it is," said the turtle, now relieved and with an exultant expression.
Bulma, who would normally be in Harpy mode at full power in any situation that interrupted her time with her family, was clearly in a different mood today. It was a day after intercourse, where she was completely happy and satisfied.
"Yes, I have a map. I'll show you where we are," said Bulma, who seemed to have descended from her own sanctity. It didn't even seem like she had questioned Ethan just moments before.
"We are here, and the sea is at least about 100 km away," Bulma said, breaking any paradigms that were running through the sea turtle's mind.
"WHAT!? How am I so far away? It has been years since I've been in the sea," said the turtle.
Ethan decided to end the charade and be direct.
"I think you are Master Roshi's turtle, right?" Ethan said, still excited. He wanted to see Master Roshi's reaction when he found out that all the girls here were his wives.
Clearly, he wouldn't let them be abused without knowing that Master Roshi was a super pervert who wouldn't hesitate to touch and abuse them.
"Yes, and that's exactly where I live!" the turtle exclaimed.
"But before anything, girls, Master Kame is a notorious super pervert. If he gets a chance, he'll try to harass you. Yes, Master Kame is one of the greatest martial arts masters in the world, but he also has a knowledge of martial arts. If he doesn't try to touch you, he'll probably try to manipulate you into doing something you don't want to do," Ethan said, remembering the old man.
"Despite his eccentricities, when he's truly serious, he could help you enlighten your martial arts skills," Ethan said with a laugh.
"You could take me there. If I stay here, it will take me 10 years to reach the sea," the turtle said.
"Well, since this trip was meant to be fun anyway, I don't see any problems with helping you," Chi-Chi said, clearly wanting to help someone related to her father.
"I don't see any problem either. It's exactly as Chi-Chi said," Gina added.
"I can already see from Tights' face that she wants to meet this hermit master for her story. So..." Bulma shrugged.
"Well, anyway, it's also the way to the next Dragon Ball. Once we're done there, we can go get it. And not only that, we can enjoy a day at the beach," Ethan said, giving them another incentive that would clearly motivate them even more.
After finally having talked to everyone, they headed towards the sea to deliver the turtle to Master Kame. Ethan couldn't help but confirm the direction from where the master's Ki was coming.
