Chapter 2 - Worthless world origin

As I fall to my knees on the stage of the auditorium with the loud laughter of my peers, I think to myself that my life is over before it even began. I became a World Master but of a world with an incomplete world origin.

I think before I continue, I need to explain a few things first. My name is Sorren. There is no last name as I'm not part of a clan. I am in my last year of high school, and at the beginning of the last year of school, everyone will take their aptitude test. This test will literally determine a person's life trajectory whether they become a great warrior, a wizard, or the greatest of life trajectories a world master or the worst an ordinary person. I became a world master but of an incomplete world. It should also be known that there is a difference in world master origins like a world with immortal qi that allows for cultivation or a world with magic power in it. There are also divisions in both cultivation and magic worlds like sword cultivation or spear cultivation, as well as the most powerful immortal cultivation. While magic is differentiated in elements like fire, water, and even the space element.

I should also mention that this is my second life as I lived on a different earth as a programmer. I died in a stupid way from overwork.

As I leave the stage, I see that Richard Gellsbrick, my so-called rival, is laughing the hardest and even pointing at me. Richard is also a world master and his world origin is less a single thing and is a very rare complete cultivation world. That means people in his world can cultivate all the different cultivation types, well, that is if they have the aptitude to do that. That also reminds me each person has a single aptitude like having the aptitude of a sword cultivator or having fire magic aptitude every person has a single aptitude that is if they actually have one, more often they won't and will just be a ordinary person about 75% of the world's population is ordinary people. Only 1% are world masters. The other 24% are people with aptitudes of various types.

As I take my seat and lament my ruin of a life, my friend Grey Warwill says, "Sucks to be you."

What a nice friend, Huh, so I spoke my mind to

him which went "Go fuck yourself" and all I got back was a laugh. He's happy with his life he got a rare magic aptitude time magic, so ya. All that's left are non clan people like me. All clan members were done first. As such, there was laughter. There were tears, but it won't change a thing you ither got an aptitude or you didn't and your life would be played out for you.

As the last person gets off the stage, sniffling cause her life is an ordinary person. At least the clan members will have their clan to fall back on, not like us non clan members that have to live with what we get. The principle goes on stage and starts his speech about how we should accept our lot in life and be the best whatever we can be. So with that rousing speech (not), it's time to split into our new classes.

Even though I have an incomplete world, I'm still in the world master class as I see my friend off. I follow the other 4 that awakened their world origin. we pass through the academy grounds to the world master set of buildings, and I forgot to mention this school accommodates children from age 6 all the way through to college however only those that have an aptitude a world origin or in the case of ordinary people they are part of a clan or are rich go through the college courses other people find jobs after high school but mostly become normal laborers.

The buildings for those in the world master courses are both old and large, but don't think just because they are old that they are shabby. These buildings are well maintained and up-to-date they also come with dormitories and even a shopping mall with everything you would need in them, including some of the most famous restaurants as we enter the building were classes are taken I wonder how I will afford living here as the money necessary must be massive and I don't have much and don't think I'll have any way of making even half the necessary amount. While I was trying to think of a way to make money, we entered the classroom and found our teacher waiting for us he merely nodded at the desks and said, " Take a seat." So we did. I took the far right seat while Richard took the far left one the others took the rest.

After we took our seats, the teacher started his speech. "Welcome all 5 of you to the world master class. My name is Kevin Shira, and I will be your teacher until you graduate. You may call me Mr Shira or teacher. I have seen your world origins, and I already know some of you will make me proud, and others will disappoint me, so with that out of the way, let's get started on your first day shall we. oh and before I forget, I don't expect anything from you, Sorren, so you may come to class or not. It's up to you."

I kinda figured it would be that way, but I decided to stick around. You never know. I may learn something helpful to my current situation as Mr Shira gives me one last telling look he gets on with class.

"Now that we have that out of the way, I'll now teach you how to open your world. All you really need to do is control a small amount of your world origin and turn it into a key in your hand, then push the key forward and turn it as if you're unlocking a door then a door will open to your world don't try it now do it when you go back to your dorm and speaking of dorms your things should have bin sent to your new dorms and I will now take your old keys and give you your new ones."

He takes a moment to pull out a small box and then calls my name. I get up and go to the front as I pull my dorm key out of my pocket and give it over after he hands me another key and what looks like a note he says "now without you wasting resources the real world masters can now get the help they need so you can leave now." and after that, he ignores me well. I had a feeling something like this would happen, so I left with Richard's laughter to accompany me out the door. I look at the note, and it's the address of my new home, so I make my way there.

When I reach the address, I find myself in front of a run-down house that looks like it's just above code as I head in I think at least the door is solid the paint on the walls are chipping the hardwood floor is creaking the couch in the living room looks 30 years old well home sweet home I look into the bedroom and my stuff is there at least they were kind enuf to pack my stuff nicely which seems to be the only nice thing here. I decide I may as well look in on my world. Maybe I can get something out of it as such. I head to the backyard, which is overgrown with weeds and other flora, which I ignore and look for my world origin form a bit of it into a key and open things up as I walk through the glowing door I finally find the reason everyone calls it an incomplete world ther is nothing but white all around with weird words and symbols running through it however as I look closer at the words I can't help but say.

"This can't be right."
