Alen and Baji were confined to a room, under the watchful eyes of the guards outside. Alen could sense the tension in the air as he observed their presence. Baji, on the other hand, remained silent and withdrawn throughout their journey. Alen couldn't help but worry about his companion. "Baji, tell me, is something bothering you?" Alen's deep voice jolted Baji out of his thoughts.
Baji looked up, his snow-white hair and blue eyes shimmering. "I'm sorry I failed you, master," he confessed, his voice filled with self-doubt. Alen found it hard to believe someone so outwardly beautiful could be so affected by failure. He placed a reassuring hand on Baji's head and spoke with conviction. "Listen, Baji, your safety is my priority. No matter what task you're given, your top priority is to stay alive. Do you understand?"
