Alen's anger radiated from him like a storm, his eyes burning with fury. Kazu, ever calm and composed, tried to reach out to his friend, but Alen's silence only fueled the fire within him.
"Calm down boy," Kazu pleaded, his voice laced with concern. "This is not the only way to deal with your anger."
But Alen remained silent, his jaw clenched tightly as he unleashed a surge of black lightning from his fists. The crackling energy illuminated the room for a split second before it collided with Kazu's log chains.
With a swift motion, Kazu swung his chains towards Alen, their metallic links whistling through the air. But Alen was quick to react, using his flash step to disappear from sight and reappear behind Kazu. His first connected with an explosive force against Kazu's back, sending him crashing into the wall.
