Night had fallen when Chris, Lamis, and Jack left the abandoned building, the golden hue of Lamis's barrier still lingered around the building, before leaving Lamis raised her hand at the building and muttered a few words under her breath. She then proceeded to clench her fist and the barrier around the building began to shrink rapidly.
When the barrier hit the building, it caused it to start crumbling down as parts of it fell off while the barrier continued to collapse within itself. Lamis clenched her fist with all her might and the spell instantly collapsed the building was now reduced to a glowing ball of energy that exploded leaving nothing in its place except for a crater and scorch marks on the ground.
The surrounding trees were thrown aside from the sheer force of the blast, and a few had even caught fire. With the mission complete the trio headed back to the castle, where the celebrations of the new queen had spread far and wide within the kingdom. The skies were. filled with vivid displays of fireworks and various spells, Lamis and the other heroes basket in their glory as they informed the queen of the success of their task, taking credit for eliminating the weak heroes who had opposed them and their beliefs.
"Good, hopefully, they're back home to their world where they cried and whined about," Lily said in a cold tone as she walked near the balcony overlooking the city and enjoyed the view of everyone celebrating her.
Later as the trio made their way to Lamis's chamber, they were surprised by the stench of blood coming from Lami's room, opening it the trio discovered a shocking scene. Her spatial magic, the one she had used to hide all the bodies of the hero and maids she had killed had been dispelled, and all the bodies she had tried to hide were now fully exposed.
Quickly she cast a new spell to erase all the traces of their treacherous deeds, keeping a mental note to dispose of the bodies shortly. Jack and Chris noticed they were missing a prisoner, and Lamis was furious once she discovered who was the one missing. Jack and Chris decided to leave her alone to avoid any conflict.
But as they turned around and opened the door to exit, they were greeted by an unexpected pair. Alice and Adam are two great heroes among the summoned ones. Chris was happy to see his brother Adam as he hugged him warmly, meanwhile, Alice stood in silence sizing up the trio with her piercing gaze.
Lamis was worried that Alice might know what they had done, but her worries quickly washed away as she noticed Alice's white armor that complimented her long golden hair and her stunning physic, along with three sentient swords floating behind her.
Alice had leveled up greatly the swords behind her contained her mana, but unlike before these three swords looked sharper and the color of the mana looked clearer, it was as if they were made of condensed mana, but she also noticed metallic parts embedded in them. "What is this magic, it's not the same as before when she had to summon her swords from mana. And these aren't beast weapons since they radiate the same energy as her. What is this!?" Lamis thought to herself as she sucked her teeth.
Lamis was envious of the technology and magic Alice possessed, so much so that she decided to use her appraisal eyes, one of the skills she had acquired during her adventures, her eyes widened as she bit her nail and tried to contain herself.
Despite attempting to conceal her energy, Alice's mana was overflowing leading Lamis to recognize her as a formidable rival. For now, she couldn't show any hostility unless Alice was already on to them in fear that a conflict might occur, and if it did. None of them would be a match for her.
Alice's cold gaze didn't leave her face as she uttered a few words. "It's good to see all of you," she said before turning around and leaving the room.

Somewhere along a river ban, a guy with a well-toned body could be seen sitting on the shirt grass gazing upon a beautiful reflection of the night sky on the river. "What do you want, why did you save me?"
"Because you are still needed in this world." A girl in a long black mage gown said as she tiled her oversized witch hat up a bit revealing crimson eyes and a pale face, she had long green hair that seemed too long for her size as most of it nearly reached her heels.
She was currently sitting on her staff, floating just a few meters off the ground. "How can you say that?" Quinn asked.
"Because my ability is future sight, I can't tell you much but all you need to know is you are still needed," Theresia said as she calmly floated away, and Quinn followed behind. Although he was healed, he could still feel the lingering pain.
"What about my friend?" Quinn asked coming to a sudden stop, Theresia gently floated towards him and lifted his chin a bit, "Your friend.... is fine, and you will meet him again." She said hesitantly. "Now come on we still have a long way to go."

Alen's window of escape was closing fast as the introduction of a new enemy shook the room, the two newly turned zombies were stronger and looked more aggressive than the others, one of them jumped from their initial position and this time had killed three guards by tearing their necks up. She had dug her nails dip in the throats and slashed them.
Suddenly the whole room began to shake as the barrier around the building began to shrink, the guards had been pushed back by the undead until they were now within Alen's reach.
Eternity had stretched on as Alen endured hours of both physical and mental torture and suffering, now his once gentle heart was filled with anger and resentment towards the universe, and adrenaline filled his body as he got the energy to wrap his hand around the chain on his hand.
He activated his skill and then activated the skill he copied from Lucy, this allowed him to pass through the bonds that restricted him, gathering all his energy he struck the nearest guard towards him before turning around and running towards the walls.
"The prisoner is running!!" One of the guards said before he was killed by one of the girl zombies. "Leave him be, focus on the enemy in front of you."
Another one of the girls had completed their transformation into a zombie and just like the two before her, she carried a lot of energy with her, this one began to move the moment she was on her feet; she bent her knees and her muscles bulged before dashing straight at the prey that had turned its back to her.
Alen who could barely run turned around and saw a zombie flying his way at high speed, its claws out and its hand stretched. It was clear that he was the target. Turning his back to it again he just managed to reach the walls and pass through them before the attack reached, instead of Alen's body, the attack had left a huge dent on the wall.
Alen stumbled in the dark as he moved through the pillars of the building itself, he could feel them breaking as the force from the barrier kept crushing them, finally, he saw a glimmer of light ahead. This specific light happened to be Lamis's barrier, he braced himself for impact and ran toward it.
He found himself outside, but instead of resting, he kept running. Dashing through the woods as his vision narrowed and his hearing faded. His freedom was short-lived as a wolf live beast chased him, to them he was wounded prey on its last legs.
He ran questioning why this was happening to him, why had he been summoned to this world? He never asked to be ripped from his world. So why!
Anger, resentment, confusion, vengeance, all these emotions swarmed Alen's head he vowed vengeance if was to die here.
"I will not die here" Allen uttered, but the adrenaline had left his body. And suddenly he was made aware of his condition, the pain hit him all at once as he lost consciousness and fell to the ground.
Now the beast effortlessly walked towards their next meal, but halfway there. The beast had stopped. Their once upward pointed ear lay by the side as the wolves lowered their body and halted their assault, something was wrong about their prey, suddenly the wolves were trying not to be seen as prey themselves while also wanting to investigate the body in front of them.
