-Ding! Dong!
Before I could even start formulating my plan, the sound of the doorbell rang in my ears, making me turn and look at the door.
"Did Mom forget something?" with a question filled voice, I jumped out of the bed reaching the door.
-Click!
The door opened and what greeted me, were three people wearing neat dresses as they observed me with a cheerful look.
A white-haired boy, whom you can define as the combination of cute and handsome. His navy blue eyes that looked at me with a cheeky look, made me wonder if I had someone like that in my life. People usually looked down at me in my past life, you know?
Beside him was another white-haired girl, who looked strikingly similar to him but quite younger in comparison. While the boy was around my age, the young girl was no more than 12.
And the last one was another girl. Her slightly curled orange hairs that reached up to her waist, and those green eyes were a rare combination that would be extremely hard to forget.
"Happy Birthday Mikael!!" shouted all three of them together, making me a bit baffled before I recalled,'Ah! Totally forgot it's my birthday.'
While wondering how I should deal with this situation, I smiled at them.
"Thank you. Come in," I spoke as I opened the door for them, trying to recall their names, wondering who they were. All my 'friends' kind of left me after my situation turned for the worse, so honestly, I didn't think anyone would turn up on my birthday.
"Were you in between cleaning?"The white-haired kid spoke as he looked at me with a slight understanding smile as he took off his white jacket, revealing his black shirt, and immediately began cleaning the mess that was left on the floor.
"Making my darling work like that! Why don't you build up some self-esteem and start working for yourself?" spoke the orange-haired girl, as she too, took off her white jacket and began helping that guy.
'For real. Who the heck are they?!!' I questioned as I failed to understand even what was going on. Forget about helping me out. I don't remember anyone even thinking about me in my entire life. Other than those 7 people that I hold dear to, of course.
"Brother? Can I have some water?" the little white haired-girl, tugged the corner of my sleeve, as she politely asked me with those puppy eyes of hers.
'Too cute!!' I almost wanted to hug her tightly, but I controlled myself. I am not a lolicon!
"Just wait a sec," I spoke before helping her sit on the chair and then running towards the kitchen as I poured some water in the glass and brought it back to her. Before I could notice, I was already patting her slowly as she drank the water.
"Oi! Help us here, you lolicon," spoke that orange-haired girl with a disgusted tone and I turned at her, my eyes glaring at her. I then stood up and joined the duo as I began helping them out with the cleaning. While I can't figure out who they are, let's pretend to be normal.
"I ordered the headsets for both of us," said that white-haired kid as he kept sweeping. However, I… hearing those words, just dropped the broom I held in my hands.
"What headset?" With my eyes shaken a little, I observed him. He was still arranging the bed sheets as a smile formed on his face,
"For Arcadia Online, of course. Didn't we promise to play together? All three of us?"
I gazed at him, before turning at that orange-haired girl, who was looking at me with a similar calm smile before she busied herself with work again.
'Something big has changed… Charles, just what did you do?' a perplexed emotion took over my face, as I looked at that white-haired kid,
"I don't know what to say…"
He chuckled a little. His eyes, a bit tired, peeked at me with a sighing look,"Just stop talking with Michelle. Well, not like you ca-"
"Michelle?" I asked with a confused expression.
"I mean Mikki, your so-called crush-" it looked like that guy was about to start an argument over something, but the girl intervened,
"Daniel. It's his birthday. Let's not spoil things, shall we?"
'Michelle? I have a crush? Hmmm…' I closed my eyes with a small silence before picking up the fallen broom as I wondered,'Am I in a parallel world? This is a bit… all right, let's not get overwhelmed. First, I should try finding some information.'
-Ding Dong!
The bell rang and the little white-haired girl stood up as she spoke,"I will see to it," and began moving towards the door with bunny steps.
'So cute!' I thought as I looked at her walking before she opened the door
-Thud!
and immediately closed it.
"Who is it, Eliza?" Daniel asked with a bit of a curious voice and Eliza replied in a monotonous voice,"That woman."
Hearing her words, a deep sigh escaped between the lips of Daniel and that orange-haired girl. Then everyone looked at me as the doorbell was continuously ringing.
"I will see to it," I spoke as I put the broom aside and walked towards the door. Opening the door, I found a red-haired woman wearing a one piece dress that failed to cover most of her body parts.
"Where is that little b*tch!" That red-haired woman spoke with frustration as she barged into my house. Her eyes traced around to stop at Eliza before she observed Daniel, and her attitude took a 180-degree turn.
"Oh! Daniel. You are already here? Didn't I ask you to come with us?" she spoke with a smile before her eyes traced the orange-haired girl and her expression turned sour again,"Oh Marie, you are here too?"
"Nice to meet you too, Michelle. Didn't think you would appear here, given your 'busy' schedule," Marie spoke as she narrowed her eyes at Michelle with slight disgust hidden behind the smile of hers.
As for me…
'This is a bit… annoying,' I thought as things were spiralling out of my prediction.
