Chapter 275 - Chapter 275: Comet's Win!? & Lustful Elaine, Again?

Raising my eyebrow at his words, I tilted my head and gave it a brief thought before shrugging my shoulders and nodding, agreeing to his bet; he wouldn't win anyway. I may not be the strongest fighter, but I wouldn't lose to someone like him.

"Hehe, you agreed to it, Princess Elaine; no take back now. Prepare to lose!" Declared Comet with a chuckle as he looked at Elaine before he recced to the back seat while Gel took complete control over his body, causing his face to become impassive.

'Weird, he seems slightly different now.' Thought Elaine lightly as she squinted her eyes and looked at the emotionless Comet before shaking her head and glancing at Maxim, who was standing just outside the arena.

"Are you two ready?" Asked Maxim as he glanced between both Elaine and Comet, though neither responded and intently focused on their opponent.

"Begin!" Added Maxim as he raised his hand before suddenly swinging down, causing Comet to speedily lunge after Elaine, who suddenly vanished into the air itself.

'He may already know I'm present, but it doesn't matter if he can't find me.' Mused Elaine softly as she traversed through the void like a fish in the sea while circling Comet, waiting for him to display an opening to strike from.

Despite how much I believed Comet to be beneath me in terms of technique, raw power, and skill, finding an opening I could use to my advantage was proving to be difficult; he was floating perfectly in the air, which would allow him to react to any one of my attacks from any angle. However, it wasn't too big of a deal; I expect this to happen whenever I face someone in battle and not assassinate them.

Circling him for a little bit longer, I decided to reappear in my original spot before lunging toward him using my speed advantage; yet, even with my speed, he had plenty of time to react, so with a quick clash, the blade of my scythe and his sword collide while I managed to push him backward slightly, yet, before I could chase after him, he slashed down with his sword, launching a large bluish sword wave; seeing that, I poured Qi into Orcus, causing it's curved blade to faintly glow with a blackish tint as I slashed at the incoming attack, cutting the sword wave in-half before raising my scythe into the air, stopping Comet's sword.

"You're a better fighter than I imagined…" Said Elaine softly as she looked into his indifferent eyes, before pushing him back and launching a curved sword wave at him, which he deflected with a slash, though it forced him back some more.

"…Also stronger…" Added Elaine as she speedily flew towards Comet, appearing directly in his face before hitting him in the stomach with the butt of her scythe, though he quickly recovered.

"…However, it won't be enough to defeat this Princess." Declared Elaine proudly as she lifted Orcus into the air, pouring her killing intent and Qi into it, causing the blade to grow to twice its size while it took on an abysmal black and blood-red color before she slashed downwards toward Comet, who gripped the hilt with both hands.

Watching Comet prepare his own technique to fight against mine, I didn't really believe he'd be able to stop my attack, but just in case he did, I seeped back into the void of the OverRealm and swiftly flew towards him just as his piercing white beam of light hit my black and red wave of death. Since I was in the void, I could fly right through the two attacks as the space between the physical plane and the void was strong enough, so I didn't need to worry about being harmed by the attacks.

Reappearing on the other side of the two attacks, I kicked Comet's hands to the ground, forcefully interrupting his attack, causing my black and red sword wave to smash right through his fading white light and speedily head right for us. Faintly smirking, I seeped back into the void just as my attack passed where I was previously standing, engulfing him in an explosion.

'He should still be alive, right?' Thought Elaine lightly with a raised eyebrow as she floated through the void while looking at the ground, prompting her to spread her divine sense, only to suddenly tilt her head to the side.

Looking to my left, I saw an injured Comet stabbing his sword right where my head was previously; I had moved out of pure reflex, yet while within the void, it should be impossible for him or even Brother to harm me, but he somehow found precisely where I'm standing something Brother has a difficult time doing. To say I was shocked would be an understatement; it's one thing to know the general area where I'm at, but to know exactly my position while I'm hiding within the void.

'He can track my position; that's the only way.' Thought Elaine with a frown as she turned and gazed at Comet before suddenly flying backward and retreating, doing so just in time to dodge a sword slash that would've otherwise not hit her.

I was entirely confused about how he could track me; I may not have been using Void's Veil, which, with how it synergies with my Void's physique, would make it virtually impossible for even Brother to find me, though I was confident it wouldn't matter. If he could track me with such accuracy when I'm not using it, I had a feeling he'd still be able to do so, and to prove my theory, I used Void's Veil, causing me to meld even deeper within the void as I entered the deeper end.

Yet, just as I imagined, he could still track me accurately, which was annoying, but he couldn't catch me; I was moving far too fast. Grumbling under my breath a little, I stopped hiding within the Void while I stopped circulating Void's Veil; there's no need to waste Qi on such a potent technique when it's not even usable.

The instant I appeared from the Void, Comet flew directly at me while I waited for him to come toward me; I wished to use this chance to learn more about him and precisely how he managed to track me.

We clashed within the air several times, sword waves violently exploding into large bursts of Qi while Comet and I flew around the arena, battling it out for multiple minutes. I had to give credit where it was due; he had performed significantly better than anticipated. Of course, he hadn't managed to wound me; he couldn't catch up to my speed, but he had lasted far longer than I thought possible.

'However, it's about time we end this little farce. I've learned quite a few things, but I've unfortunately hadn't gotten even the slightest clue as to how he could track me in the Void.' Thought Elaine as she tilted Orcus to the side, using its large blade to divert a beam of piercing white light before speedily flying toward the exhausted and injured comet.

Snaking around Comet, I dodged a slash from his sword before kicking him in the back, flinging him towards the ground as he slammed into it; descending to the floor, I approached Comet, who was now on his knees while keeping himself propped up using his sword.

"You've lost." Stated Elaine softly as she approached Comet, who took several deep breaths before looking up at her, his impassive expression suddenly breaking.

"Haa, haa, a-are you s-sure about t-that P-Princess Elaine?" Asked Comet in exhaustion as he glanced at Elaine before suddenly smirking and squinting his eyes while an invisible yet potent intent erupted from his body and engulfed Elaine.

Before I could even nod, I suddenly felt a mysterious intent surround me, and instantly I began to feel horny and lustful; feeling my cheeks heat up, I looked at Comet, and I couldn't help but find him rather attractive and handsome. I-I was even beginning to want him, and before my very eyes, I saw him stand and approach me, causing the lust I was feeling to increase as I collapsed onto my butt while closing my legs, trying to stop my lower mouth from leaking juices.

'W-Why i-is this happening? I-I love brother, m-my body is for B-Brother only!' Thought Elaine with a deep blush as she breathed heavily, only to feel a sharp, metallic, old object placed against her neck.

Looking up at the smiling Comet, despite knowing I shouldn't be having such thoughts, I-I couldn't help it for some reason. It was like I was being forced to lust after him, yet it also didn't feel forceful; it was a weird feeling.

"I-I win, Elaine." Stated Comet with a proud smirk as he rested his blade against Elaine's neck before storing it into his dimension ring and outstretching his hand; just when she was about to take it, a feeling of absolute pride overcame her.

Feeling this pride from seemingly nowhere, I knew what and who it belonged to, as no one had as much pride as him; helping the pride within myself push out this lust, I stood back up and ignored Comet before turning around and looking at Brother, who was walking towards us while radiating his Immortal Will.

"Elif!" Stated Comet with venom as he stepped forward and protectively stood in front of Elaine, though he was about to be in for a rude awakening.
