Chapter 125 - Chapter 125: Goliath the Titan

It's been a few days since Birger and Eyvor visited my floating island; currently, I'm on the center island, sitting near the main entrance of the Fairy Manor while watching many different groups of people arriving, all bearing gifts for Eyvor's birthday celebration.

"So far, seven Ancient hegemonies and two Divine hegemonies have arrived bearing gifts for Eyvor, and if I'm not mistaken, there are still a few people who have yet to arrive. This is more people than I anticipated." Muttered Elif while casually sitting down and eating lighting cherries as he occasionally nodded towards the arriving guests that greeted him.

"Well, it's not that surprising, Prince Elif, considering it's the Fairy Clan; they're quite peaceful and friendly; besides, if you ever wish to erect a powerful illusion formation, they are the people you would hire." Remarked Birger, sitting on the opposite side of the small table while drinking some tea.

"That is true." Replied Elif, agreeing with his statement.

"I didn't bother looking at the guest list, so do you know how many groups of people are expected to attend, Birger?" Asked Elif curiously as he noticed another group of people landing just outside the manor entrance.

"There are supposed to be thirteen groups in total; nine from Ancient hegemonies, three from Divine Hegemonies, and the last one are from an Immortal Hegemony." Replied Birger though his words slightly shocked Elif.

"Hmm, an Immortal hegemony? That's surprising; I didn't know the Fairy Clan was in good relations with another Immortal Hegemony beside us–haa, never mind, I just realized what you meant." Remarked Elif in surprise before quickly sighing while feeling quite foolish.

"Haha, excluding us, only eleven guests are supposed to partake in Eyvor's birthday celebration, Prince Elif; that would make the group that just arrived the last one." Said Birger with a chuckle as he mentioned the group of people resembling demons that had just gained entrance to the manor.

Feeling quite foolish at having said that out loud, I shook my head before glancing at the group of large hornless Demons covered in markings with multiple arms, which did slightly surprise me, as I didn't know the Fairy's had relations with Demons.

"Hmm, those aren't just Demons; they're Asura's, so they must be from the Ancient Asura Clan, correct?" Asked Elif with a raised eyebrow as he eyed the group of Asura while nodding back once they greeted him.

"Yes, they're from the Ancient Asura Clan; I hold the same emotions. I also didn't know the Fairy Clan had connections with them." Replied Birger with slight surprise as he nodded his head, greeting the Asuras.

"Well, the celebration will be starting in an hour or so, but until then, everyone will be in the dining hall mingling with each other, so I'm sure we can ask them later. Speaking of the dining hall, I assume they've fixed everything since they are holding the celebration there?" Asked Elif as he stored his bowl of lightning cherries in his dimension ring before he and Birger stood up.

"Yes, they've fixed everything, your Highness." Replied Illumia, who had been silently standing behind Elif this whole time.

"That's good; I wouldn't want to be the reason why Eyvor's celebration was ruined." Stated Elif as he and Biger began heading toward the manor, with their destination being the dining hall.

Once the three of us entered the manor, we navigated through the halls until we arrived just before the dining hall, which was relatively easy since all you had to do was follow the horde of servants, and you'd eventually make it to the dining hall.

'I can see the Divine Giant Kingdom, the Divine Half Sect, and the Ancient Asura Clan; other than that, considering I never bothered to learn about the Ancient Hegemonies, I don't know anyone else.' Thought Elif as he and Birger observed the lively dining hall filled with various species, though mostly Fairies.

"I'll go and check on Eyvor; considering her feelings toward you, Prince Elif, I think it would be better to have you go instead." Mentioned Birger as he turned around, leaving the dining hall, before turning around again and looking at Elif.

"No, it's probably best if you go; after everything that happened, I think it would be better if we are given some space, so to speak." Said Elif as he summoned his quạt tay and waved it at Birger before entering the dining hall.

As I walked through the dining hall, I, of course, was constantly getting stared at while everyone would move out of my way; however, unlike before, where their gazes held respect, awe, and curiosity, I could now sense fear as well, and a significant amount of it too.

'I suppose, after that banquet, this is only expected, but can't you guys at least act like my presence does not frighten you? You're giving yourselves a bad image.' Thought Elif while shaking his head as someone not paying attention bumped into him.

"Ahh, my apologies, I didn't see you there-P-Prince Elif!" Said a young Fairy apologetically, though when he realized who he had bumped into, he was quickly consumed by fear while images of himself being beaten to nothingness by Elif appeared in his mind.

"Just pay attention to where you're walking next time." Said Elif calmly as he glanced at the Fairy, who was refusing to look him in the eye, before ignoring him.

"I-I will P-Prince Elif." Said the Fairy in a suppressed voice as he turned around and quickly increased the distance between him and Elif.

After that exchange, I figured it would be pointless to try and approach any Fairies since if they all acted like he just did, it would be like talking to a wall. So with that, I decided to ignore the Fairies while heading toward my first point of Interest, the Divine Giant Kingdom. They were impossible to miss, considering they were at least eight times the size of everyone else. This is saying something because I'm roughly six feet(183cm), and I'm not even the tallest person here, excluding the giants, of course.

"Despite your large muscular appearance, no one seems the least bit intimated." Commented Elif as he approached the Giant that seemed to be the leader, his words causing everyone in the vicinity to focus on him.

"Haha, well, we Giants are quite easy to talk to, but we can also be intimidating if the need arises." Replied a youthful-looking giant with a chuckle as he looked at the ground while his deep and loud voice reverberated through the surrounding area.

"The names Goliath Atlas; I believe this will be our first time meeting Prince Elif." Added the youthful-looking Giant with a smile who goes by the Goliath.

"You already know me, so I won't bother introducing myself. However, I must say, although I've heard rumors of how big Giants are, I didn't expect you'd be this large; Elves are usually taller than most species, yet I hardly reach to your shin." Remarked Elif as he was forced to back away if he wanted to look at Goliath's face, and even then, he still had to tilt his head up.

"Haha, we Giants take pride in our height and muscular physique, which is unique to us, though I will say most Giants our age aren't my size. A Giants height usually peaks at around eight to ten meters, although some rare ones can even reach up to fifteen meters." Said Goliath with a hearty laugh as he used his large hand, which was nearly the size of Elif, to pick up a massive barrel filled with beer and drink it.

"If that's the case, aren't you special among your people? You're roughly fifteen meters tall already, and I doubt you've grown to your full potential." Said Elif with a raised eyebrow as he compared Goliath with the other nearby giants.

"If I were a Cyclops, Troll, Orge, or even just a normal Giant, then I'd indeed be special; however, since I'm not, I can't really label myself as such." Replied Goliath after he finished the entire cup of beer before setting it down.

"Ho, if you're not any of those you've just stated, then what are you? I may not be well versed in the knowledge of different species, much less especially Giants; nonetheless, the only type of Giant that comes to mind is a Titan." Stated Elif with a smirk as he eyed Goliath.

"I expected it would take you a long time to figure it out, but I was wrong. Yep, I'm a Titan, hahaha!" Said Goliath with a smile before bursting into laughter, while several other Giants sighed.

"Prince Goliath, the Majesties had advised you to keep your identity of being a Titan a secret." Said an Older Giant who was surprisingly only slightly shorter than Goliath, as he looked at him with his one large eye in annoyance.

"Oh, calm down, Uno; the only person who knows is Prince Elif; I doubt he'd go around telling everyone I'm a Titan." Remarked Goliath while patting Uno's shoulder with a giant smile as they both glanced at the tiny Elif.

"Don't look at me; I don't have much interest in telling everyone I meet your secret; besides, I doubt you'll be able to keep that a secret for long, considering your tremendous height. It's only a matter of time before someone links you to being a Titan." Said Elif while fanning himself.

"See, I told you it would be fine, Uno."

"I wasn't worried that Prince Elif would expose your secret; I was worried that everyone who heard you would go around and expose your secret because, as you know, you have a bad habit of being obnoxiously loud." Remarked Uno as he, Goliath, and Elif observed the surrounding people who were all eavesdropping on their conversation.

"Ohh, well, as Prince Elif said, it would be exposed sooner or later, so it doesn't matter if I expose it now. Hahaha!" Stated Goliath with an unconcerned laugh.
