Chapter 75 - Chapter 75: Unexpected Find

After several hours of meditation, I decided to take a break and see what was happening outside, though I didn't know what I was expecting as there was nothing remotely interesting. However, I did notice that we were no longer in the forest and were traversing through the sky while everyone else followed behind. Looking over to Idonea, I saw her sitting beside me with her eyes closed, seemingly doing some meditation, while May sat across from us, looking out the window of this slow-moving carriage.

I didn't wish to continue staying with this woman and her group; however, I also knew there was absolutely nothing interesting in this tiny realm; otherwise, I'd be there and not here.

'This will be rough; I can hardly do anything in this realm. I can't train effectively since Idonea's cultivation base is suppressed, and even if it wasn't, I can't use my full strength without destroying a third of this tiny realm. Let's not even mention the density of Qi and its impurity. Haa, this sucks.' Thought Elif, feeling incredibly discouraged about the near future.

"May, where are we going? This isn't in the direction of your so-called sect." Asked Elif uninterestedly, though he hoped to pass the time through conversation.

"I'm going to visit a good friend; I hope you don't mind, Prince Elif." Said May, showing a brief moment of affection when speaking of her friend, and while Elif noticed it, he wasn't one bit interested in her romantic life.

"No, it's not like it matters where I am if I'm still stuck inside this realm." Said Elif, sounding incredibly annoyed every time he remembered he was stuck in this realm by himself. While Idonea won't do it, she has the option to ascend to the Heavenly realm, which is something Elif doesn't have currently.

"I hope I'm not overstepping my boundaries Prince Elif, but you mentioned your parents before, so I was just curious about your age. Of course, if you don't wish to discuss that, my apologies for asking." Asked May, curious if the child-like body she sees is a true representative of his age or if he's using some transformation or illusion technique.

"I'm eight." Said Elif blandly; however, May's expression was currently incredulous.

"Eight!" Exclaimed May in shock; while finding it hard to believe someone so young could be so powerful but she found no reason why someone as powerful as Elif would bother lying to her in the first place.

"The legendary Heavenly realm seems far more impressive than I could've ever imagined." Said May in both amazement and shock, while any bits of pride she still had vanished when standing before Elif and Idonea.

I don't know where she got the idea that we originated from a heavenly realm considering I've never mentioned the term heavenly realm. Still, I didn't care enough about her to correct her, and it's not like we'll ever see each other again after I leave this realm.

May no longer asked any questions and stayed silent while we flew through the sky, prompting me to pass the time by cultivating again, as I literally had nothing better to do. If I managed to cultivate fast enough, I could ascend out of this tiny realm and arrive in a heavenly realm. When cultivating, I didn't dare absorb any of the tiny amount of impure Qi in the atmosphere, and instead, I took out an Immortal spirit stone and used that.

___

However, what Elif didn't know was that the moment he took out the Immortal spirit stone and began cultivating, the sheer amount of pure Qi radiating off the stone was like a bright star shining in the night sky; it immediately illuminated everything, allowing for every nascent soul cultivator and above in the realm to sense the spirit stone.

A few seconds later, every being who could sense the spirit stone instantly stopped whatever they were doing and began closing in on Elif's location. At the same time, saints and above ripped holes through space, allowing for an even quicker way of travel. Not even ten seconds had passed, and a couple of old humans had already surrounded the flying carriage. However, before they could do anything, a mighty pressure erupted from the carriage, shaking the entire spirit realm and causing everyone rushing toward Elif's location to be forcefully immobilized while filled with intense fright.

"You all will return to where you came from; any who disobeys will be slaughtered. No one will interrupt his highness." Said Idonea, her voice laced with a remarkable amount of killing intent considering her age.

The small group of old people surrounding the carriage was currently shaking in terror as they were the only ones in the entire realm who realized the severity of the situation, considering they were all peak Half-step Divines, the strongest existence allowed in a spirit realm. And if the strongest beings couldn't even move, that just showed the person they tried messing with was not from the spirit realm.

"W-We understand, Senior! Our greed merely got the better of us; we shall leave this instant." Said a terrified Old man with a long beard as he bowed; every other old person did the same before quickly disappearing once the suppression vanished; no one dared to stay a second longer.

Though while those few were smart enough to understand the severity, some of the weaker cultivators were too dumb to realize the kindness they were given for not being killed immediately. The ones who didn't listen to the words spoken directly to their mind were killed, every single one crushed into the ground like a pancake; not even a scream of pain was heard from their bodies before they died.

"Fools." Muttered Idonea before closing her eyes, continuing her meditation while a shocked and terrified May silently sat opposite her.

"We've finally arrived. Now I can go and see him again." Commented May as the carriage stopped just before a small but lovely city, of course, relative to May's perspective.

Opening my eyes, I stored the immortal spirit stone in my dimension ring and peeked at the city, or I should say village, with how small and underdeveloped this place is. Doing a quick sweep of the village with my divine sense out of instinct, but I suddenly stopped, and my eyes widened when I sensed someone similar to me, which, while isn't impossible, just the odds of that happening are so small, there is a better chance of me suddenly kneeling to a commoner.

Exiting the carriage while ignoring May calling me, I headed toward that person's location. Once I arrived, I saw him fighting a group of people that seemed relatively important, at least to this village. Having finally found something marginally interesting, I didn't wait until the winner was decided and directly intervened in the fight.

"Cease this battle at once." Ordered Elif, appearing out of nowhere in the middle of the battle while stopping the attacks of both parties.

"Who do you think you are interfering with my fun!? But since you're the most beautiful woman I've ever seen, I'll spare you if you become one of my concubines." Said an overly arrogant young man with lecherous eyes while wearing clothes of higher status than the commoners of the city.

[Note: Elves are pretty androgynous, so it's challenging to differentiate between sexes for most other species.]

"Young master, please be careful; she is a saint from how she is flying." Quietly muttered a guard to the young man, though he seemed too blinded by lust to care.

"So what if she's a Saint? My father, the City Lord, is also a Saint and a powerful one at that! He'll make her submit whether she wants to or not." Stated the young man as he laughed maniacally, already imagining the nights in bed with Elif.

The way that man looked at me sent chills all down my body, and his words only irritated me further; I had even thought about killing him; however, with my status, I found it to be beneath me to kill someone who wasn't even born in the OverRealm. Besides, I wouldn't even need to kill him, May, who had just arrived, already seemed quite upset with him.

"I'll take care of this; no need to get your hands dirty on such filth, Prince Elif." Said May kindly before she attacked the young man without any hesitation, though an older man's voice was heard before her attack could connect with the young man.

"WHO DARES TO ATTACK MY SON!?" Yelled the man in anger while looking at May, though before he could do anything, he was slammed into the ground by May's servant.

"No need to worry, Prince Elif, Young Mistress. I shall take it from here; please continue your actions." Said James, bowing with a courteous smile before grabbing hold of everyone related to the man and young man and vanishing through a crack in space.

Anyway, with that out of the way, I turned around and focused on the other young man in front of me, which slightly took me aback as the aura he radiated wasn't what I was expecting. He seemed to be just like a commoner. Now when I said I found someone similar to me, I meant from how pure his Qi was, as with how impure the Qi is in this realm, everyone's cultivation is filled with impurities, resulting in their cultivation being an entire realm weaker than someone who cultivates in the OverRealm.

However, this man before me has Qi as pure as mine, which is incredibly rare as even though the Qi in the OverRealm is very pure, there are still a tiny amount of impurities. Thankfully, my cultivation technique entirely filters out any impurities, leaving me with only pure Qi to absorb. Still, his Qi is just as pure as mine, something that not even Eyvor, Birger, or Idonea have. This left me to assume that only descendants of an Immortal Hegemony will have Qi as pure as mine. Yet, descendants of such an existence will radiate pride, confidence, power, and other things of similar nature, but the man before me barely even radiates any confidence.

'However, this might just make this a little more interesting.' Thought Elif as he watched how May and the young man were having a cheerful conversation.
