A black wall instantly formed between Hikone and Donna, with spikes shooting out from it. Donna blocked all of them, tearing down the barrier with her ink. From the dust, Hikone emerged, wearing large black gauntlets on each hand. She thrust her fist forward, striking Donn's blade out of her hand. Using her other hand, she caught Donna by the throat and threw her across the room. Donna caught herself with the ink, brushing aside her long hair.
"Careful dear." Donna said, "I am one to be easily aggravated by the slight mess of my pretty face."
"Oh, I wouldn't be so worried about that." Hikone said, "Besides, someone else beat me to it."
"Oh, you really have a death wish." Donna said, a vein popping on her forehead. She picked up her sword, leaking out black ink on the ground. Drawing a black circle in the air, she drew out her second sword and set the ink ablaze.
Donna snapped her fingers and the flaming circle spiraled towards her. Hikone formed a shield as the spiral reached her, sending sparks flying. Hikone deflected the attack, producing a long chain that she use to try and wrap around her. But Donna was quicker, breaking them and charging straight for her.
"Oz Vlazerncroft, right?" Desmond asked, "I'm impressed that Edgar was able to get someone like you on the side of the inquisition. Real surprise."
"Your presence here is not only a dent to the inquisition but to the entire world as well." Oz said, "It would be wise for you to surrender."
"My you are boring. Are all of you like this or is it just you." Desmond sighed. "Let's start this from the top. High, my name is Desmond Scheibe. I was a prime of the Inquisition in the time of Jahn Vu Jor until my eventual demise during the second daemon incident."
"You mean parting." Agatha said.
"Shut up." Desmond said. He swiped his finger in Agatha's direction and she instantly disappeared. "Anyway where was I? Ah…yes. I am."
A blast of wind sent Desmond hurdling towards the wall. He rubbed his head in pain and grunted.
"Screw this." Desmond said, putting his hands together. Oz grunted as slashes appeared out of nowhere all over his coat.
"That was a warning my dear friend. Interrupt me again, and I will end you."
Oz removed his tattered coat and rolled up his sleeves. "That is if you can try."
Desmond smiled gleefully.
"Jumping one guy doesn't feel fair does it?" Sharon asked, "Its kinda disappointing."
Joseph stood to his feet, cracking his knuckles. "All my life, you're the second woman to throw me away like that. I'm impressed."
"Why thank you. Now, you mind telling us what would warrant such an attack?"
"Take a wild guess." Joseph said as he began to twirl a thick metal string around his fore fingers. Using his thumb, he struck the string, and a wave of sound fired in her direction. Sharon side stepped, dodging the attack.
"Cool."
"Thanks." Joseph fired three more at her. Sharon made a dash for him, ducking under the first wave and rising up to dodge another. She jumped over the third wave, smashing the ground at were she had stood. As she fell, she charged up the licht energy in her fist and struck the ground underneath his feet. Joseph jumped back, firing more sound slashes in haphazard directions but Sharon avoided them all, barely moving from were she stood.
"Okay. Interesting." Joseph sighed, untwirling the string. Pocketing the string, he raised his hands to the air. Instantly, Sharon, went defensive, drawing a circle of licht energy around her. Joseph raised a brow.
"Oh?" Joseph tilted his head. He rubbed his hands together, a broad smile on his face.
Sharon rushed at him, breaking her defense. She thrust her right fist, and tried to uppercut him with her left. Both of them were repelled by an invisible barrier. She immediately jumped back as a wave spread out on the field.
"You're an Eagon."
"Yes. What about it."
"But Gerald said… ah well, who am I to judge. We are all dead men after all."
Without warning, Joseph clapped his hands, producing a large shock wave. Sharon stood her ground, barely able to block the attack. Putting her hands together, she blocked the punch from Joseph but then her eyes widened as she realized her mistake.
"Boo." Joseph whispered. The very words blasted Sharon across the shattered fields, immobilizing her momentarily. She immediately got up and made a licht circle as Joseph arrived, snapping his fingers. A powerful force fell on Sharon, putting her on one knee, as she grit her teeth in pain. Blood began to ooze from the side of her mouth. Her muscles felt like they were going to tear. It was then she realized that her licht circle had long shattered .
The crushing force seized as Sharon slumped to the ground, unconscious. Joseph sighed, and walked of.
