Life went on for the couple planning the wedding.
Dottie graduated, and it was celebrated with her family and Reuben, as well as her few friends and her classmates.
She quickly got a job that her schooling opened for her. As much as they hoped that Dottie could get a job in the same workplace as the man she was engaged to, she ended up picking up one of the positions in the local post office.
The month before the wedding, there were a few things that had to get done. One of them was Reuben biting Dottie. Reuben and Dottie intentionally planned to have the next full moon after the wedding when she was first able to run around in her wolf form. Another thing that took a considerable amount of more time was moving Dottie into Reuben's home. They had to go through their belongings, as there were doubles of a lot of things, and decide which set they were keeping. Then there were the wedding shower gifts that they had to sift through as well. Third, there was the rest of the wedding planning, which was sometimes headache inducing. However, they got it done.
Then the day of the wedding came.
Dottie's dad led her down the aisle in a church building towards Reuben standing at the altar. The pastor led the wedding, and the two said the traditional wedding vows. Dottie was so emotional at the end of it that there were happy tears running down her face.
The guests they thought would come did. All of Dottie's family came, and Reuben's brother did as well. Reuben apparently made up for his lack of close family with a larger number of older friends that came. Claire came, as did Dottie's friends as well.
After the reception, Dottie and Reuben left in Reuben's car. Before they left the city completely, they had to stop by the house and grab their bags for the honey moon. All the incidentals were packed and ready. Dottie had a suitcase ready, and the clothes that she had worn for the last couple of days were dropped off at her mother's place.
Her mother had volunteered to wash them and her dress for her.
They were going to spend the week in a chalet for rent in Queen's Forest National Park. It would be the first full moon after Dottie got bitten, so they were planning on romping through the woods and around the lakes on four feet. Besides that, they were planning on hiking, canoeing, maybe some fishing, and exploring a small community close by. It might not be as traditional as a cruise, but it was what the couple would enjoy.
