Little Nova was given to one of the club nannies to be taken care of. Miss Ruth was a lady who was also a victim of kidnap.
She had issues with her family who wanted to give her out for early marriage and this prompted her to run away. If she had known that she was jumping from the frying pan to the fire, she would have stayed back and gotten married to the old man. She regrets running away.
Running away was her greatest regret. If only she had settled for another solution.

She was brought to this place and was locked up in a room. The men took turns to take care of her and she couldn't tell who was who.

If they had not forced her into getting married early, she wouldn't have run away, if she had not run away, she wouldn't have been kidnapped. So,in conclusion, the root of her problems was her family but she could not bring herself to hate them, especially her parents.
At first she was kidnapped to be trained as an assassin with others who were with her but after seeing how weak she was, they decided to kill her ,after all, a weakling is of no good to them rather a burden who has to be protected.
She was almost killed when one of the men pleaded with the boss on her behalf. She could never forget that Saturday where her fate was decided.
She had been dragged already to the death garden as it was popularly called to be killed. The death garden was a beautiful garden filled with several colorful flowers that you would never know were used for the killing of betrayers, law breakers and weaklings.
Everybody dreaded that place even though it was the most beautiful garden.
Ruth, who was brought to be killed, couldn't help but admire the beauty of the garden.
Maybe, the goal of beautifying the place was to make the victim die a beautiful death or maybe give the victim the pleasure of seeing something beautiful before his/her death, maybe, just maybe, but nobody knows the boss' reasons for it.
Daniel, known as "Danger" , was one of Boss' favorites. He never missed his target and was always successful on his missions hence, there was no mission without him and Ivander.
" Boss, can we please spare her. She just lost a child" he pleaded.
" Shouldn't that be one of the reasons why we should not let her live? Kill her and save her the stress of bearing pains" the Boss questioned.
" Boss, I know there are numerous reasons why we shouldn't spare her. But please, just this once. I bear responsibility for every one of her mistakes." Daniel didn't back down. The young girl was looking too pitiful.
Rose was surprised to hear someone plead for her but didn't utter a word.
Even Boss was surprised to hear Danger plead for someone. He never does that.In fact, he was cold and always kept to himself. He doesn't care for anybody except himself and Boss.
This made Miss Ruth start suspecting him as her rapist, if not, why would he plead for her knowing that Boss could be offended?
Although she couldn't see his face, she could hear his voice and had marked that voice. Even though he was her prime suspect, for now he was her savior.
Boss gave in to Danger's plea and spared her life. This surprised everyone. Even Danger was surprised that Boss had given in to his plea. Maybe,the Boss would ask for something in return.
No, the Boss can ask him anything and he must obey. Boss wish was a command to all of them. Thinking of it alone gave him chills but he didn't show it which made it go unnoticed. His fellows couldn't help but feel slightly jealous of him.
The issue was they couldn't release her so they decided to make her be of use in the aspect of taking care of the children. Immediately Nova was handed over to Miss Ruth,she fell in love with the cutie.
She immediately felt pity and anger. Pity for the little boy and anger towards the mob. She decided to take good care of him. If her baby was here, would he be this cute? she thought. She didn't know where they got this prince charming from but he's now hers. She took him to the nursery and gave him his own stuff.
She looked at the little children she had been taking care of. Some were products of rape, many were kidnapped while others like Nova she didn't know anything of. These children were poorly taken care of. Her oldest child now was Gabriel who was five. He would soon be taken away from her.
The children start their training as soon as they turn six. If he/she was weak, that child would be killed and if strong, trained and sent on missions. This was why she always tried not to get attached to them.
She laid Nova on one of the beds, the closest to hers and went about her business of getting food for the twenty children in her care.
