Chloe's POV:
I was really scared when Mr. Rude described the color of my dress, now I have a bad feeling about him.
After closing my door, I couldn't bring myself to reply him..and I don't think I should be texting someone who wants to remain anonymous.
So I took off my shoes and slowly walked to my bed, a new house and a new life. I pray everything goes well as I resume school tomorrow.

I could feel the morning sun brighten on my face, slowly I opened my eyes and saw the time on my clock
It was 7am and I have lectures at 8, the first day of school and I will be going late.
After freshening up and getting all dressed for school, I picked up my bag and phone and ran out of my apartment.
Soon I found a cab that drove me all the way to school, I kept checking my time and I was already three minutes late. So great for a first impression.
Classroom block six was my venue, but I had a lot of difficulties finding it…a few minutes I found my way to the hall. Walking in and the lecturer stopped talking immediately she spotted me.
'Why stand there and stare at us? Walk in' She said in a rude tone, I nodded and walked to a vacant seat.
Since I was late, I couldn't quite understand the lectures… so I had to stare around till the end of the class. Luckily, the class ended after an hour.
Soon after, I found my way to the school restaurant as I didn't have breakfast.
Three pairs of eyes stared at me immediately I walked into the restaurant, just my look to meet with Amber and her rude friends.
'Chloe' Rachel, one of Amber's friends and also my classmate from high school called out.
I pretended like I didn't see them and walked to order my meal.
While eating, I spotted Rachel walking towards me. She pulled a chair and joined in. 'Why didn't you come and say hi?'
'I didn't see you' I said and continued eating, I know she is here to mock me and not be friendly.
'Since you don't have any friends, I thought it wise to pity you and invite you to come join us' Rachel kept saying and her friends kept staring at us.
'Thanks for being considerate, I am fine alone'
'Don't be embarrassed, even though you are not dressed fit to join us. We still want to invite you to our table'
She kept saying and I clenched my fist angrily, I hated Amber and her friends so much. They always look for ways to make my life hell, since from kindergarten, they kept tormenting me even in my dreams.
'I am really not interested' I tried keeping my cool, but Rachel just sat there and had no intentions of leaving.
'Friend' a loud voice echoed from afar. I turned and saw Anne walking towards me with a smile.
'That's Alice's sister, does she know Chloe?' Jenny whispered to Amber loud enough for me to hear.
'Why didn't you text me after your lecture? So bad' Anne pouted and pulled a chair as well. She didn't even pay attention to Rachel.
'Sorry about that' I apologized and stared at Rachel who just said I had no friends.
'I would have really loved to join you girls, but I can't leave my friend' I had a proud smile as I said to her.
She nodded and walked back to her friends, Anne waited until she left before turning towards me. 'She is your cousin's friend?' she asked and I nodded.
'I still don't get why your cousin is being rude to you, it's not like you were her stepsister' she sneered and I didn't feel like talking about Amber.
'Are you hungry? The food here is so delicious'
Anne stared at me and sighed 'I will order something' she walked away and I stared at Amber with a smile.
From Amber's POV:
I gritted my teeth angrily when Anne Francoise joined Chloe. I never knew she would make friends, and again to someone like Anne.
'I will be back' I excused myself before following Anne who just left to order some food.
'Can I have a bottle of water?' I asked the waitress. Anne stared at me and I smiled at her.
'Hey there' I smiled at her and she nodded before collecting the tray of food handed to her by a waitress.
'I love your LV brand, top notch'
To start a conversation between girls, all I had to do was to praise them and make them smile.
'Thanks' she said and walked away, she didn't even spare me a smile.
I watched as she walked back towards Chloe and even smiled at her,

After having breakfast, Anne received a phone call and excused herself. Chloe checked her phone for a new message from Mr. Rude, she was a little anxious about him.
'So you have a cell phone?' a manly voice echoed, Chloe stared up and saw a familiar guy, her cheeks suddenly turned red. She never dreamt of meeting this guy again 'Chloe right?' Carl asked and joined her.
'Uhm..yes' she said shyly. Carl was amused by her look.
'I never knew you school here, it must be your first year'
'Yes'
Carl took her cell phone and typed his number, then he dialed it. Soon he received an incoming call from Chloe.
'Let's keep in touch' Chloe nodded with a huge smile, Carl was so cute and also had those amazing eyes. She never imagined a guy like him talking to her.
'Chloe, come fast' Anne walked back towards her, then she spotted Carl and waved at him 'Hope you don't mind, we will have to leave' Anne said and picked up her bag before leaving with Chloe.
While outside, Anne couldn't help but ask 'You already met with the social pro?'
'What's that?' Chloe was confused, is there such thing as social pro.
'Keep up, means he is famous for always hosting parties…since you know him then we are safe'
'It's not as if I attend parties' Chloe sneered, just then a car drove towards them. As the car lens pulled down, Mark and Alice's image were visible.
'Get in' Alice said with a smile but Anne scoffed and pretended not to hear them.
'Don't reply, remember how they abandoned us at the restaurant' Anne reminded and Chloe nodded. She was amused at the relationship between sisters, it seems like Anne was really upset and ignored Alice. So Alice came here to apologize.
'Mark, seems they are not interested in attending Ariande Grande's concert' Alice said waving four sparkly VIP tickets. Anne and Chloe's eyes widened in shock. Chloe could feel her eyes fall off its socket.
She shook her head and then stared at Anne, 'Why are you looking at me? They just blackmailed us'
After saying that, Anne pulled Chloe and they both walked inside the car. Alice laughed as Mark drove away.
Soon enough, they arrived at the concert and were treated as big shots, all thanks to Mark they even sat at the VIP area where they could see Ariande clearly.
'This is so cool' Anne laughed, then she retracted her phone to take a picture.
'If you want the pictures to have many likes, then let me do it' Alice said proudly then retracted her phone.
She held Mark and stood beside Anne and Chloe 'Smile'
They had a lot of fun, Anne turned towards Chloe who placed all her focus on the music 'What's your name on TikTok? I will tag you'
Chloe had an embarrassed look, not because she didn't have an account but because she had just two followers. And those two followers were Jim and Maya.
'That Chloe' Chloe said and Anne nodded before tagging her.
Later at night, Mark dropped Chloe and Anne off before leaving together with Alice.
'Chloe, can I spend the night at your place? Since we live nearby' Anne said and didn't wait for Chloe to reply.
Chloe had no say, she unlocked her door and they both walked in. Anne was so tired that she went to sleep immediately, just as Chloe was about to sleep as well, she received a message from Carl.
'Sleep tight' her hands trembled as she read the message, she had a different and abnormal reaction every time she thought about Carl. She was mesmerized by this guy 'Wish you same' she typed and cross checked the message for a long time, contemplating whether to send it or not.
Just when she was about to press the send button, she heard Anne breathe out heavily. She thought it was probably normal but then she saw how she held the sheets tightly and struggled with it.
'Anne' Chloe got scared and called out, but Anne seemed to be in a lot of trouble that she couldn't breathe well.
'Anne, Anne what's wrong?' Tears rolled down Chloe's cheeks. She saw Anne pointing at her bag, but she was in a state of shock that she didn't know what to do.
