Chapter 4 - Ragnar the Grey

The rest of the cloth armor was worthless a few greens, some blues a purple but without any skills, traits, or talents so worthless there were just 2 that were usable.

=====================================

[Glove of intellect]

Type: Green

Rank: White

Defense: 2

Intelligence: 1

Trait: [Intelligence up] Grant's holder 1 point in Intelligence.

=====================================

Godly trait. Definitely will become useful when it levels up.

=====================================

[Sandals of magic]

Type: Blue

Rank: White

Defense: 3

M.Defense: 1

Trait: [Magic Step] Grant's 1 point of Mp every step holder takes.

=====================================

With this one, I should be ok for Mp and won't fall apart easily. Good thing too, as the magic skill I now have needed a lot of Mp to use well a lot right now later on it will be a paltry amount. After the cloth came the leather armor, here's hoping, though I seem to be saying that a lot whatever I got lots of stuff and I do hope I get good results like that fucking bronze hat I'm still freaking out about that like what other treasures did I miss out on my first run which dose remind me I haven't gotten the paper assessed yet they are in my belts built in pouch. Crap I also took off the belt well ill wait till it is its turn. As the leather armor was being assessed, I put on the hat and gloves the sandals I held onto as they were like the Sandals the Roman's wore so they wouldn't tie onto my feet after that I looked at what was already assessed most were worthless some greens a few blues I didn't see any purples though but he's only half way through them.

After all, the leather armor was assessed. I looked through the last half, but only 1 stood out.

=====================================

[Pants of unmatched Agility]

Type: Orange

Rank: White

Defense: 10

Agility: 15

Trait: [Agility up] Grant's holder 1 point of Agility.

=====================================

This is definitely some good stuff kinda looks like Lady Luck is doing a dance for me, and now the chain mail, to be honest, there is less chain mail than the others cause most of the chain mail that I found was in pieces like small pieces so getting a full shirt or even gloves was not that easy. Well, I guess the dance is over. This was definitely a bust, only one green and no skill, trait, or talent. I found the belt by the way and took out all the papers gonna let him do the full plate mail first, though I still got the rings on my fingers to do too. After he finished assessing the full plate mail, he stopped and gave me a look, and I don't like that twinkle. I see where his eyes should be, and with that happy thought in mind, I give my stuff a look.

=====================================

I think Lady Luck just looked at me and then gave me the middle finger after her dance cause this hurts. I left this in my first run-through. I don't think I can die anymore than I already have. The skill is awesome, and I'm a little afraid of what the set bonus will be, so the question is, should I look or not? After that question, all one can say is, "Are you stupid? Yes, look."

=====================================

Set bonus

2-pieces: 30 Agility

3-pieces: Skill: [Shadow Cut]

4-pieces: Talent: [Sword Mastery]

5-pieces: Trait: [Greyed Out] (No, the Trait isn't greyed out. That's what the trait is called)

6-pieces: Special Skill [Grey Fall]

=====================================

Ok, it's official. I'm going to be overpowered until floor 20 at the farthest or 15 at the earliest oh, and there is a special skill well that's both good and bad and it's bad because I can't aquire it which is why it's a special skill however special skills are overpowered to the extreme which must be why Lady Luck basically said fuck you after that dance and I also now know why the merchant is looking at me funny.

The Skill [Shadow Cut] is a long-range attack as it causes a cut that travels through the shadows to cut an enemy and dose 200% of users damage.

The Talent [Sword Mastery] gives a 1% increase in damage using swords.

The Trait [Greyed Out] Causes creatures up to level 5 to not notice the user until they ither attack or cause a noise to get others' attention, so it can also be used on other players too.

The special skill [Grey Fall] summons the shadow of Ragnar the Grey to fight for the user for 5 minutes.

These set bonuses are monstrous. I love the trait, though at higher levels, it will be a good way to sneak around. I'm now very worried about the Shield. What type and rank would it be well? There is only one way to find out, so I give it over as I put the entire Ragnar set on, but after I look back, the merchant gives back the shield while shaking his head "I'm sorry customer I can't assess this item my assessor level is too low." When I heard that if I had a face, I'd have a surprised look on it. This guy should be able to handle anything up to and including bronze rank but when I think of this my head whipped to the side so fast to look at him that if I was alive I would have had whiplash "Your joking right?" I can't help but say, but I just get a head shake back I almost faint then and there past me you fucking moron.

I dont think I can handle any more surprises, but I hand over my sword, and it's not even a green, just a crappie sword well ok next are the rings all of them are worthless so I don't keep any just sell them all and after that the papers are last and nothing just alot of scrap paper ya well whatever Lady Luck already told me to fuck off so it's fine as I leave I hear behind me " Thank you for your business dear customer please come again." and the wall closed back up, and I'm in a dead end again. I do a quick look at everything, then set off. I need to get to bronze rank before I get to the 5th floor rest area, I think, as I start walking.

As I leave, I don't see it, but in the shop, a second man in a cloak comes up behind the merchant "Brother will you really let that man keep that armor set?" The merchant shakes his head. "It doesn't really matter, by the way. Did you see the residual energy on him. It looks like she has gotten involved. It's bin eons since I last saw her act, so leave him be or do you want to answer to her yourself?" As the merchant says that the other one fades away.
