Riiinngg!! Ring!!!
The sound of Harry's phone resounded which made him woke up.
He wash himself and ate breakfast before changing clothes. Unlike a usual day this time he was not wearing his school uniform instead he was wearing a formal black suit.
Three days had already passed since he put 9 rare cards in an auction and the highest bid went up to 1.5 million dollars which were more than 150,000 each. It was quite satisfying as no one would ever imagine that a simple card that didn't even cost ten thousand dollars could fetch up to 1.5 million dollars.
It was quite unimaginable, especially for those who didn't even know the true value of those cards which was why some of them were clueless fools and were missing out on the chance to gain a lot of money.
He wanted to go to the lottery but he was quite disappointed as there is no winning combination in the diary because it is stated that his past self was never interested in things like the lottery but still he has something in mind where he could get a lot of money.
After going out of the cab he directly went into the building in front of him.
At the large entrance, one can already see a lot of bulky men wearing a black shirts with an earpiece on.
This building was securely guarded from head to toe as this building is where a lot of trading of unique and expensive items can be traded.
"Do you need anything sir?" ask the staff lady behind the desk.
"Yes, I am here to confirm my item," Harry replied.
"Ok, sir... may I ask your name please," the staff lady asked.
"Harry Leigh"
The staff then look through the computer and her face twitched but it didn't last long as he went back to her usual demeanor.
"Ok, sir, please wait a moment," the staff then called someone over the phone and soon a woman emerged on the side.
"This will be your guide sir," the staff bowed and pointed at the woman who just came out.
"Ok thanks," Harry thanked him and followed the woman.
"This way sir," the woman opened the room and inside it, there are two men who were already sitting on the couch.
As soon as he entered the room both men greeted him warmly and let him sit on the sofa as they talk about the item.
The man in front of him was an expert in terms of gaming items and was one of the executives of the company that created the game and the card that he was auctioning.
After looking at the cards several times the man looked quite disappointed.
"It is legit," the man said while his brows were knitted as if he was disappointed that the card was true.
"Really!?" Asked the man on the side who seems one of the managers of the trading company.
"Yeah!"
"So how much do you think it's worth?" asked the manager in an excited tone.
"The truth is that this could even fetch up to 300,000 dollars per piece. And if completed its value would increase a lot," as he talk about its price the manager was already eager to grab the card and was ready to make a deal. "But, the truth is that the value of this card is not yet revealed to the public because the management plan to reveal it after a year or so when the card was already distributed to different people but this man has managed to discover its true value ahead of time."
"Hmm," the manager hummed as he nodded.
"Which was why the management bid on your item and tried to buy it off again." said the man as he looked at the manager and Harry.
"So that is why the bidding is not that fast even though it is worth something like that," the manager nodded as he already knew the reason why.
The more the set of cards was apart from each other the higher the value it would have. And the longer it would be before the set was completed or it was discovered the higher its value would be. This was why they didn't reveal the value of the card yet as they plan it to be a collector's item but unexpectedly Harry got all of it and posted it on the auction.
What was even more shocking was that he knew its value and set a minimum bid of a million dollars. And because of it no one tries to bid on it and only the company itself because the others still didn't know its true value.
But because of appreciation, they wanted to buy it appropriately.
The truth was that they plan to directly contact Harry and buy it from him at the lowest price possible but it was already posted on the auction house that was too well-known over the world they would not risk their reputation over it as they might become an enemy in the future.
"Yup if it's not for the company's reputation we would just try to buy it at the lowest price possible and destroy it," said the man with regret.
After a couple of talks, they soon came up with a deal.
Harry get 1.2 million in total as 200,000 dollars was commissioned on the trading company.
He was not that sad about not getting the highest price because it is true that the card he sold still doesn't have a value yet. After all, the company that created it still hasn't revealed its true value.
On his way home he didn't forget to buy some food.
Just as he was already eating at home a notification came up on his phone where it notified him of his account balance.
He smiled as he look at it now what he needed to do next is to create a company but he wanted not to be known as the owner of the company so he was thinking about how to create one without being linked to his name.
Based on the diary although after the cataclysm money eventually lessened its value over time, it is not really useless as there was one thing that was emphasized in the diary.
As soon as he looked at his bank account he then saw another notification but this time it was a message from someone he knew.
[ Harry, father said you need to come back and live here with us. He just gave you a week to get yourself here ]
After reading the message Harry's face stiffened as anger filled his heart.
He already knew why his father was rushing him to come back home and live with them. He wanted to test his siblings who would inherit the company he built because he was already dying.
There was not enough time for him to live. And based on the diary his father would take the resources given to them before.
Instead, their father would only give them capital for them to start a company or do whatever they wanted to do.
In the past, he was forced to learn business management and everything about the market. He even entered the stock market but due to his lack of effort and uncaring attitude, he didn't reach anywhere near his brothers' and sister's achievements.
He was always on the losing side as he kept losing money over time. But also because of it which is why he was happy. He had learned about the stock market and so thus in analyzing it. All major and minor changes in which anyone can make a profit were stated in the diary.
There was also some piece of important news that could be used in many ways in terms of business and making money out of just the information alone was already a lot of profit.
One of those is the information about real estate there is a lot of news about some piece of land that the government wanted to improve or develop.
There was also some news about the currency which was where he could gain a lot if he had enough capital.
After that, it was already afternoon and Rachel was already knocking on his door.
Harry opened it up but what pop up in front of him was Rachel's frowning face.
