REGAL'S POV:
It was still early in the morning and I was playing video games in my room when I heard a knock on my door. I was reluctant to get the door because I didn't want to lose the game but I eventually went to check who was at the door. "Regal !!" A familiar voice called my name. I opened the door and I was shocked at who I saw. It was Camila, my first cousin, we hadn't seen each other for a long time. "Awwn, am happy to see you, I've missed you so much" She jumped and gave me a very tight hug. "I missed you too baby" I tried to let go. "Come in" I gestured with my hands. She sat down on my bed and we discussed and played video games for a moment before she complained thet she was hungry. I wanted to go get something for her when she suggested we eat out. I asked her where she had in mind and she said she would love to be at Vickings bar, at first I didn't agree to it because I had this kind of odd feeling but after much pleading I agreed to it. I was tired for real but I couldn't decline because it's been a while we spent time together. I had a change of clothes and we about leaving when my dad who was just returning from a business deal saw her. He was happy to see her and they discussed while I waited in the car. They were done discussing and she hopped into the car we left the building. We had a heart to heart discussion in the car because Camila's mom was sick, she had been the one taking care of her all these while before they hired a personal doctor who stays with them so she decided to chill and take her mind off all the stress she had been through that was when she decided to come visiting. I suggested we play chess when we get the bar to make the outing worth while. We were advancing where we were gonna seat, my eyes mistakenly fell on a set of two people. I recognized the both of them but I didn't bother to worry myself about that but on a second thought I decided to take a look at them closely and I discovered it was Mia and Charles although they hadn't noticed me yet. My face expression changed immediately I found out that they were the ones. Camila noticed how my expression changed within seconds and asked me if anything was wrong but I said there was nothing wrong even tho I lied. I was both heartbroken, jealous and angry at the same but I tried to suppress my anger so it wouldn't lead to something disastrous. I took off my eyes off them so they wouldn't notice I saw them. I and Camila walked passed them and I could feel their stares but I ignored. We sat down and ordered for a drink, Camila made a joke and we both laughed and I saw the way Mia and Charles looked at our direction with my side eye maybe they thought I was trying to make them jealous. I also noticed the way they were both acting, so awkward, maybe to also make me jealous and to be honest they were actually getting it right because my jealousy level was already at its peak. Camila wanted us to play a game but as I was about giving her a reply, I got a call. "Right now ?" I asked the person over the phone because I wanted to stay much longer with Camila. I told Camila I wouldn't be able to stay any longer because I had a very important meeting to attend. She was not happy but I told her if I get back we would both go somewhere very nice and she smiled and agreed. "Okay, I'll be there shortly" I said while rushing out of the bar. I sped up to where I was supposed to have the meeting then the meeting commenced. It was a long meeting which lasted for about four hours. The meeting was finally over and I decided to go home to take a rest because I was totally worn out. I drove slowly until I got home and saw Camila waiting for me in the living room. "I thought you were still in the bar" I said with my eyebrows up, "Of course not, I followed you immediately you stood up but I guess you didn't notice". She asked if we were gonna be able to go out just as I promised her already because she noticed I was tired already. "We will Camila but not now I am really tired" I said in a light tone. "Moreover I have something to discuss with you and it can't wait, let's go to your room and talk" She dragged me to my room. We got to my room and we sat on the couch facing each other. "I noticed the way you stared at that lady back at the bar. Do you know her ?" I was shocked to hear that question because I didn't know she noticed me and maybe other people would have noticed too, I began to fidget. "You did ?" I asked loudly, "Of course I did, it was very obvious but answer my question, do you know her ?" Camila asked curiously. "Yes I know her, she is my secretary at work" I decided to open up, "So why the stares then if she is just your secretary ?" She further asked. "The truth is that I really like her, I think I'm in love with her Camila and I don't know how to express my feelings to her" I said sadly. "I knew it, I knew something was fishy" she continued "You just have to tell her before another guy takes her away because with the way the other guy was all over her I can tell he also likes her or do you want me to help you out ?" Camila asked with a smirk, "Sure" I said drawing myself closer to her. She advised me on how I could tell Mia I liked her and I pretty much liked the idea. "I will definitely do that on Monday, thanks Camila" I smiled, "She's beautiful yunno, you would both make a great couple" She teased me and she laughed so hard. "Okay, I promised you I was gonna take you to somewhere nice, well I am about to fulfill my promise go get your bag and let's go have fun" I said because for some kind of reason I felt happy and energized, "Hipeyyyy" Camila screamed for joy and we both left the house.
