Chapter 18 - Lost little Lamb -a childrens story

Once upon a time, in a lush green valley, there was a little lamb named Lily. She loved to run and play in the meadows with her friends. One day, while playing with her friends, she wandered a little too far away and found herself lost in the woods.

Lily didn't know what to do, she was scared and alone. She bleated for her mother, but her mother was nowhere to be found. She wandered around in circles, hoping to find her way out of the woods but only ended up getting more and more lost.

As the day turned into night, Lily became cold and hungry. Just when she thought all hope was lost, she heard a hooting sound. It was an owl perched on a tree branch.

"Who, who, who are you?" asked the owl.

"I'm Lily, the little lamb. I'm lost in the woods and I can't find my way back home," replied Lily.

The owl flew down to Lily and said, "Don't worry, little one. I'll help you find your way out of the woods."

The owl spread his wings and took off into the sky with Lily on his back. Lily looked down at the woods as they flew over the trees. The owl swooped and swerved, trying to find a way out of the woods.

After a while, they saw a raven perched on a branch. The owl called out to the raven, "Hey, Raven! Can you help us find a way out of the woods?"

The raven looked at Lily and said, "Of course, I will help you. I know these woods like the back of my wing."

The raven led the way, and the owl followed closely behind. As they were flying, they saw a squirrel scurrying up a tree. The owl called out to the squirrel, "Hey, Squirrel! Can you help us find a way out of the woods?"

The squirrel stopped and looked at them. "I can show you the way, but you'll have to come down here first," said the squirrel.

The owl and Lily landed on a branch near the squirrel, and the squirrel jumped from tree to tree, leading the way.

As they were making their way through the woods, they came across a mamma bear and her cub. The owl and Lily stopped in their tracks, scared that the bear might attack them.

But the mamma bear looked at them and said, "Don't be afraid, little ones. What are you doing in the woods?"

Lily explained that she was lost and couldn't find her way back home. The mamma bear said, "Don't worry. I'll help you find your way out of the woods. Follow me and my cub."

The mamma bear and her cub led the way, and the owl, raven, squirrel, and Lily followed. They walked through the woods for a while until they finally saw a clearing. In the distance, Lily could see her mother and her friends waiting for her.

"Thank you, thank you so much!" exclaimed Lily. "I couldn't have found my way out of the woods without your help."

The mamma bear replied, "It was our pleasure, little one. We always help those in need. Now go back to your mother and never wander off too far again."

Lily ran towards her mother, and the mamma bear and her cub disappeared back into the woods. Lily turned around and waved goodbye to the owl, raven, and squirrel. They all waved back, happy to have helped Lily find her way back home.

From that day on, Lily never wandered too far away from her mother and always remembered the kindness of the owl, raven, squirrel
