Amanda finished her work at the library and headed to her dorm to find Eliza and one of her friends talking on Eliza's bed.
"is that your new roomie." The girl whose name was Chloe asked.
"yeah, isn't she amazing." Eliza snorts.
"hi Eliza and you there." Amanda greeted as she dropped her backpack on the table beside her bed as she collapsed on her bed reading a novel.
"is she that old fashioned ande besides what is she wearing, doesn't she have fashion sense." Chloe laughed softly as she whispered to Eliza.
"it's none of my business by the way." Eliza rolled her eyes as she continued texting. Amanda who was listening to the two suddenly frowned, she knew her clothes weren't as good as Eliza and her friend's, even Stella's but it was still better than rags. She sighed as she tightened her grip on the book.
"OMG!" Chloe exclaimed.
"what's the matter?" Eliza asked curiously.
"it's your picture with Jayson it's trending on campus, you two make the cutest couple". Chloe giggled.
"I know right." Eliza smiled.
"why don't we take a stroll, I'm so bored." Eliza suggested.
"sure." Chloe said as they both stood up and in a blink of an eye the room became quiet leaving only Amanda in the room.

"your girlfriend is coming." A guy announced when he sighted Chloe and Eliza walking towards their direction.
"guy how many times do I tell you that she's not my girlfriend we're just friends." Jayson snapped at Chris angrily.
"okay fine, you don't need to get angry." Chris joked.
"hi babe!" Eliza waved when she got to where Jayson was as he gave a half smile.
"what's wrong you don't look okay you don't look okay to me?"Eliza asked slightly stroking his face.
"erm...you see I'm just a little tired." He said as he akwardly removed her hand from his face.
"okay, so why don't we go grab some coffee." Eliza smiled.
"I'm exhausted I'll catch you later bye." He said as he walked away leaving Eliza dazzled. Jayson had never rejected her.
"what's wrong with him?" She asked looking curiously at Chris.
"he just had a bad day I'll talk to him." He said as he patted Eliza's shoulder and ran to catch up with Jayson.
"well since it's just the two of us, why don't we go out to have some fun." Chloe suggested trying to brighten up her friend's mood.
"sure I'll text Addie to come meet us at the water fountain." She said as she opened up her phone and sent a text message to Addie.
"that great come let's go." She said as they walked to the fountain.
