Lea tries waking up but her body protests. She pushes the pain out of the mind and limps until she reaches the closet, she throws it open and her eyes widen in surprise. She sees clothes stacked from one end to the other, fancy clothes that he can never picture herself wearing. Suits and skirts, shirts and silk blouses, every color, shape and style you can ever think of. She goes to the next one and opens the door, she sees this one is stacked with accessories, handbags, purses. She looks up and sees jewelry, every color diamond she can think of, and so much gold... What the hell? She looks down and notices all the shoes, not a pair of trainers in sight, only heels, how will I get away in these? She opts to just use socks for now, figuring it out later will be better then staying in this place.
She grabs some clothes that she thinks will pass for 'normal' and heads tp the bathroom. She washes up quickly and changes her clothes. She can hear the older speak before she enters the room. She grabs her gown and puts it back on, running back to the bed and getting in. She instantly regrets it, knowing she will probably not be able to walk after that sprint. She watches the woman enter the room and straightens her facial expressions.
"Ah, you are awake?"
She watches the woman walk toward her and she dips herself further into the mattress, not feeling safe in this moment. Where am I? Why did you bring me here?" She can hear the confidence in her voice waver.
"This is your home, you grew up here." She bends down and moves a loose strand of hair from her face. "Did you manage to regain your memory yet?"
The woman looks at her curious but also cautiously. What on earth is going on? She wonders why she doesn't feel anything towards any of the people here or even this place itself. Surely if she had grown up here she would at least feel something right? But what does she know about amnesia, maybe this is what everyone goes through. Still she can feel that something is not okay, this feeling never leaving her since she first met this woman. She takes a moment to study her, she looks like she could be the first lady. Her face pretty but vacant. She is dressed in a pant suit that is probably tailored to fit her because it fits her to a T. She wears black pencil heals and has an air about her that seems almost vein and conceited. "I get flashes every now and then." She lies to the woman. She sees her eyes flicker for a moment before she fixes the mask. Panic maybe?
She clears her throat, "That's good." She turns and looks behind her at the woman standing behind her with her hands clasped in front of her and her face lowed. "This is Hatty, she will be taking care of you until you recover." She turns to the woman, get her bathed and ready for lunch in an hour." She gives her one last look and tries to force a smile at her, "See you later darling." She turns and leaves the room.
She watches the lady exit and immediately lets out the breath she didn't know she was holding. She lays her head against the pillow and closes her eyes to stop her racing heart. She looks at the woman who clears her throat, "Its you. What did you mean when you said earlier that you thought I had escaped?" The woman just shakes her head at her, not wanting to say anything. She looks around the room strangely and she follows her eyes. She sees her looking at something and notices a very faint red light. The woman looks at her and shakes her head again, pleading with her eyes. She realizes that she is being watched. Crap! This means that they saw her running back to the bed, she groans. Is that why she saw Shannon panic a bit when she lied to her?

Bastian gets a taxi and heads home... Home. He hasn't been back here in five years. He closes his eyes and dreads having to face the people he left behind. Before he knows it, the taxi stops outside his childhood home. He gets off and just stands there watching his childhood home in front of him. He tries to go in but his feel are frozen in place. Nothing changed. The house still looks dirty from the outside, it almost looks like it will collapse any second. The broken toys still all over the lawn. He swallows and finally takes a step forward but stops when he sees his mother standing in the doorway looking at him. He sees the tears in her eyes and his heart drops. "Mom..." She turns and enters the house leaving him standing there. He follows her quickly catching up to her and grabbing her hand, "Mom?" Demons of his past coming back to haunt him the minute he looks in her eyes.
She turns and looks at the boy, he looks okay. She feels her heart full again, her baby is home. "So you are finally back?" She watches him closely, seeing the regret and guilt on his face which he doesn't try to hide. She puts her hand on his shoulder and draws him in for a hug. "Its okay boy, I forgive you." She hears him take a breath and pulls away, putting her hand on his face, she rubs his cheek, not realizing until now how much she missed him.
Five years ago he didn't have the courage to tell her about his plan of running away. He knew if he came back and looked at her face he would back out. He couldn't do that, he couldn't leave Lea. He chose his love over his family. A choice he battled with everyday since. Not that he just disappeared and never contacted her again, he always sent her money, always called, always apologized, but all of this is never enough to make up for leaving them behind with no explanation. His mother knew the reason he chose to leave and thankfully she never blamed Lea but looking at her now, he can see just how much it affected her. She looks old and tired. he knows he has a lot to make up for, I guess there is no time like the present.
