AUTHOR 'S POV
As the loud music rang through the dark room!
A human groaned loudly, opening his eyes, placing his hand on his head he looked around his room which was just a mess.
Alcohol bottles rolling in the floor, the smell of alcohol filled the room
Making his headache worst.
He switched off the alarm and stood up from the floor, he made his way to the washroom and stood under the shower.
Everything around him was a mess, he himself was a mess
His handsome face had beard, and eyes had dark circles.
It's not like the mistake was someone else's
He very well, know he deserves all this may be more than this.
Coming out from the washroom he saw his room was already cleaned.
Of course the maids would have done it!
Walking into his closet, he took out a black bazzers and white shirt .
Setting his hairs, he walked out from the closet taking his coolers.

Walking down the stairs, he saw his mother MRS. MEENA
Sitting in the sofa with a emotional less face.
He walked towards her and seeing him she stood up from her place and walked back to her room
Karthik smiled sadly looking down, this was the treatment he was gave since she left.
No one was even willing to look at his face,why not he himself felt ashamed for the sins he did .
Taking few deep breaths, he walked out from the house and left to his office.
Where as, meena ,stood watching her son drowning in sorrows.
As a mother she wanted to console him, heal him but as a human being she wanted him to suffer.
And being the person who noticed and witnessed all the ill treatment that poor soul went through!
She knew her son deserves this!

As karthik entered his office, everyone around him wished him and he royally, totally like a jerk ignored them and walked into his cabin.
His personal life is a mess and he knows that, but then he didn't want his profession one also to be a mess.
Soon he started his work and every now and then his PA came in and informed about the needed details.
Time was around 9:00 PM and Karthik was still in his work place!
"stop working like a donkey ! "VICKY His only friend and CO-CEO of the company told coming inside his cabin
Vicky doesn't know anything happened in the past all he know was his friend is in sorrow.
He tried and is trying to change his friend which seems like impossible
Taking a seat in front of him, Vicky leaned back to the chair.
"it's been 5 years since I saw the real karthik "Vicky told and karthik stopped working for a minute and waited for him to continue
"I don't know what happened in the past, or what's wrong with you but you living your life like a lifeless soul and amma(karthik's mom) not talking to you is something disturbing me karthi "Vicky told looking at his friend
"what you want now Vicky? "karthik asked, leaning back to the chair closeing his eyes and his fingers massaged his head slightly.
"let's go out somewhere na! You working like this is not gone solve anything will it? "Vicky suggested and karthik nodded.
"will be in the parking area in 5 minutes "karthik told and Vicky nodded
Vicky and karthik are best friends from their childhood! His parents and Karthik's parents were friends and after the accident which occurred to Vicky's parents! It was Meena! Karthik's mom who took care of him!But in between Vicky had to leave to Dubai for years as his parent's working company were there and it needed his attention .
And ever since he came back it was only pain ,sadness and sorrows in his best friend's eyes!

Kathi and Vicky were in the car talking about random things , Basically Vicky was the one who was talking and driving the car and karthik was in the front seat looking out the closed window.
"talk something man "Vicky told as he stopped in the signal
"what to talk man, I am so done with everything and everyone "karthik whispered rubbing his eyes!
"karthi stop this, your behavior is irritating me
You are the CEO of SK groups of companies, keep that in your damn mind! Your acting like some Bollywood movie love failur guy "Vicky yelled and the next few minutes were silent
"Why don't you date someone? Or atleast marry someone?" Vicky asked and Karthik looked at him shocked
"Why would I?" Karthi asked
"Why should you now?"
"please kathik ,I want you back
The same one 5 years back who was friendly, happy
This new karthik is...is a so irritating "Vicky told and suddenly they heard a sound .
Karthik got down the car and saw a auto had dashed a car and people were fighting.
Sighing, he turned to leave when he saw a pair of eyes which looked extremely similar to him.
As it was covid time, everyone were wearing a mark so were the owner of the eyes.
The eyes blinked away some tears and now karthik knows who it was.
His eyes too welled up with tears
The eyes which always looks at him with love was now with pain and sorrows .
