"And," Master Rauly continued. "Please don't break anything or hurt anything," he added.
A few people around the room raised eyebrows at this.
"Momo will show you to the cleaning closet and from there you can get started. And we will be starting..." he looked down and clicked open his pocket watch. "Right about... Now!"
At Master Rauly's "Now" everyone still in the game jumped up from the dining room table, but paused as they remembered that they had to follow Momo. They all looked around the room and found the little goblin waiting by the door.
She giggled.
"Good to see you're all ready to go!" she commented once most of them had made their way to her. "Alrighty then, let's get going," she said, leaving the room and leading the pairs and house maids through the manor and down the halls until eventually they ended up in front of a little closet door.
The goblin stood in front of the door as everyone gathered round and once everyone had caught up, she opened it. Everyone leaned in close expecting something extravagant to be behind the door, but once it was revealed it was in fact just a small closet with shelves of cleaning supplies.
"Alright! Who's first?" Momo asked, presenting the closet as if it were something special.
Hana pushed forward first, tugging Barric along.
"We are!" the demon said assuredly, stepping right into the closet with the King in tow. Though as soon as she stepped in it was like she disappeared. Barric's eyes grew wide at this, but she still had a hold of his hand and soon he stumbled right in and disappeared as well.
"Woah, what in the fuck!? Wait a minute, what is this?" Layla blurted out.
"What the fuck indeed," Lucian the wolf commented.
"A simple illusion, it's just bigger on the inside is all," the goblin assured them.
All of the maids looked to their Masters or Mistresses with concern before all of the pairs glanced to each other.
"Well then, who's next?" Momo asked.
Lucian the wolf and Luna the rabbit stepped forward next.
"This should be easy enough for you darling," the wolf commented, taking the bunny's hand and stepping into the closet. The bunny woman smiled and eagerly followed her Master into the strange closet.
Next the human Master James stepped up, holding his little mouse maid Skippy in his arms.
"A-are you sure this is ok Master?" the mouse asked, shivering.
"All part of the game I guess," her master assured her before stepping into the closet and disappearing next.
Next up Lucy pulled Layla along and took a look at the illusion that hid the closet's true interior. There was a sort of shimmer around the edges of the door frame.
Lucy smiled.
"Ohhhh, I think I know what this is. This'll be fun! Come on Layla!" she said, eagerly stepping into the illusion, pulling the elf along.
"Gah! Mistress, are you sure about thi-" Layla didn't get to finish her sentence as she was pulled into the closet leaving the final pair remaining.
"Well darling, don't be scared, go dip your toes in it," Nushi encouraged her dragon maid.
Canglo stepped right up to the closet entrance and paused, looking into it as if it held any answers.
"Ehhhh, I dunno Mistress, What if it's-" he sentence was soon enterupted as her Mistress walked up behind her and gave her rear a bump with her hip, causing her to stumble through the illusion and disappear.
"Hopefully she'll forgive me," Mistress Nushi said to Momo, giggling to herself before finally stepping through the illusion herself.
"I guess we'll see," the goblin said to herself before closing the closet door.
"Have fun everyone!" Momo said.
