Legend Five

The Dire Drider

OR

(Damn girl, what that abdomen do?)

And just like that the party would finally part ways with the kingdom of Sqwuck, bringing along with them the memories of their new found shared experiences and strong hangovers.

An alliance between Ol' Tameria and Sqwuck had finally been formed, the royalty of Sqwuck had finally found suitors to help continue their line, and most importantly, Layla had finally rid herself of the harsh burden of virginity.

The festivities had filled the party with renewed vigor as they continued their travels north, once again finding themselves off the beaten path, deep within one of the massive forests of Siriuhs.

They would all find themselves sitting around a campfire, sharing stories of previous adventures and days past until eventually the topic of scary stories was brought up. It was an Ol' Tamerian tradition that Barric and Layla had taken part in many times, and now would share with their new found companions.

Layla waved her staff over the fire to make it shift into all sorts of images as she told her tale.

"And when they finally arrived home her suitor would go to open her carriage door and find a hook hanging from the handle!" She said, making the image of a hook appear in the fire. "They never found the man with the hook hand. They say he still roams the forests of Siriuhs to this day," Layla said, wiggling her fingers as she laid the story on thick with a spooky voice.

"I doubt the man would be a formidable opponent without his hook," Sylas commented, seeming unimpressed.

"Thanks Layla! Now I'm not gonna be able to sleep alone tonight! I'm gonna have to share a tent with someone," Quinn said, looking too Barric with a sly grin.

Barric wouldn't notice this as he made exaggerated snoring noises with his head nodded to one side.

"Oh I'm sorry sister, were you telling that same old tired ass story you've told every time we've gone camping since we were kids?" Barric asked.

Sylas raised an eyebrow at this.

"And I bet you think you could tell a better story then huh?" Layla said, challenging him.

"I know I can, and I'll even let Quinn and Sylas go first," Barric replied.

"To buy time to think of a story I bet!" Layla said, pointing at him accusingly.

Barric squinted at her accusation as Quinn cleared his throat.

"So a Prince was sitting with his suitor and whispering sweet nothings in her ear when the scrying orb began to glow. The Prince answered it and a voice said, 'What are you doing with my daughter?'. The Prince told his suitor, but she said my father's been dead for ten years! So who was orb?" Quinn finished.

Layla and Sylas just seemed confused at the story, while Barric giggled.

"A classic," Barric said to himself before Sylas then cleared his throat.

"After a long harrowing battle, a demon commander reported to his general, 'The enemy has retreated, we imposed twice as many casualties on them as they did to us, but… they were able to take a single prisoner'," Sylas said, looking around the bonfire for his party's reaction.

They all stared on as if waiting for some sort of climax to the story, but would soon realize that was the whole thing.

"I don't get it…" Quinn was the first to admit.

"Being taken prisoner is a great dishonor. Death is preferable. The taking of a single prisoner implies that even though they sustained twice as many casualties they were still able to retreat. Nothing short of the full destruction of the enemy army is desirable. This is also a great shame," Sylas explained.

Everyone stared, silently still.

"Demon society is very… harsh," Sylas admitted.

The whole party gave a nod at that.

Barric cleared his throat as it was finally his turn.

"So there was this Prince! Everyone loved him! He was this real handsome, charming, life of the party kinda guy! He would party all night, every night and slay mad gash till sunrise! Then one day, the Prince's dad, the King, told him that he needs to start taking more responsibility for his royal position and he would soon be King! And sure enough, the day came and the Prince was made into the King. He was so busy with his royal duties that he had no more time to go out with the boys, get drunk, or fuck his orc maid. His life was consumed by his service to his people… The end," Barric said, putting his hands out as if to present his story.

The party was silent once again as they all raised eyebrows.

"You alright bro?" Quinn would ask.

"A bit of projection there," Layla commented.

"I could see how this would terrify you," Sylas spoke up.

"Thank you Sylas, at least someone understands," Barric said with a long sigh.

There was an awkward silence before the King spoke up once again.

"So Layla… Tell us about your time with the Princess of Sqwuck!" Barric proclaimed, giving her a nudge.

The elf almost choked as she sipped on her water skin.

"What do you mean? I mean… What do you want to know?" She asked, wiping her mouth and sitting up straighter.

Quinn covered his ears with his hands.

"Eww, no, don't care. Girls are gross!" He said, while Sylas seemed somewhat interested, gazing her way.

"You know… What happened? Who was on top?" Barric teased, wrapping his large arm around his sister's shoulder.

"Well… She was kind…" Layla started shyly. "And we took turns!" She said with a bit more confidence.

"Pffft~" Barric blurted, turning away as he tried not to laugh.

Sylas nodded as if agreeing with her statement.

"Awwww~" Quinn said, having uncovered his ears now just to hear the story.

"Well… From what I heard someone was in there moaning like a virgin!" Barric teased.

Layla's face would grow deep red at this as Quinn began to giggle and even Sylas raised an eyebrow with a slight grin.

"W-what?! Were you listening to us?!" Layla asked as Barric stood up.

The King offered her only a shrug.

"Maaabye," Barric teased once again as he stretched and headed away from the fire and towards the forest.

"Anyway, I gotta rock a wicked piss, but when I get back I want to hear details!" The King proclaimed as he headed off into the forest alone.

"Fuck you!" Layla yelled.

"You won't!" The King remarked before disappearing into the forest.

Barric would make his way into the dark forest and find just the right tree with a clear view of the full moon. He would take care of his business quickly enough and begin his way back to camp, but soon found his journey taking far longer than it had the first time. The forest had a thick layer of fog that hung about it as he tried his best to find his way back, but paused suddenly as he heard the snapping of a branch behind him.

"WHAT THE FUCK?!" Barric's voice echoed through the forest as the party all looked up at once.

"W-what was that?" Quinn asked, scooting close to Sylas.

"Sounds like Barric," Sylas commented.

"He's probably fucking with us," Layla sighed, quickly dismissing it.

Sylas made his way to his feet and stared into the forest without a trace of fear.

"I'm going to take a look," he said, taking a step forward before Quinn clung to him again.

"B-but what if it's the man with the hook hand!?" Quinn asked, fully behind Sylas now.

Layla sighed.

"I'm telling y'all, this is a waste of time. This is a classic Barric prank," Layla insisted as Sylas pressed forward towards the darkness of the forest. Quinn would follow close, not wanting to leave his side.

Layla let out an annoyed sigh as the pair began to leave, but soon realized that if she didn't follow she would be alone.

Soon enough the trio would find themselves wandering through the dark and foggy forest, though the full moon casted just enough light for them to find their way about.

A wind would blow through the forest causing all the branches to sway at once, shifting about as they sent all kinds of shadows dancing through the forest.

This would cause Quinn to cling to Sylas even closer, holding his arm like they were on a date.

Layla was already growing weary of this midnight trek and began to shout.

"Alright Barric, come on out! We're out here looking for you, you happy?" The elf yelled.

The forest was quiet as there was no response and Layla had expected none, but after a moment, a voice rang out.

"Layla!" Barric yelled faintly.

The trio all paused at this, standing still and listening intently.

"Barric!? Where are you?" Layla yelled back, annoyed.

There was silence for a moment before Barric responded.

"Layla! It's a trap! Don't let her thick abdomen fool you!" Barric yelled back.

"What? This isn't funny anymore Barric! Come out!" Layla yelled back.

There was only silence after that as no response came.

"Barric!?" Layla yelled once again, this time her voice wavering with a hint of concern. Though once again there was only silence.

Once again the branches of the forest shifted and shadows danced about, but this time the wind wasn't blowing.

Layla began to look about frantically, spinning around in circles as she began to panic.

"Barric!" She yelled again, but there was no reply.

A shadow fell over the trio and Layla watched as Sylas took a fighting stance facing her. Quinn cowered behind him and raised a shaking hand to point towards Layla.

"L-layla, I don't think he was fucking around!" Quinn said as the hair on the back of Layla's neck stood on end.

The elf stood there frozen for a moment, dreading to move, but finally she spun around to see whatever it was Quinn was pointing at.

Layla spun around and immediately recoiled at the sight she was greeted with, falling right to her ass.

Hanging there above her was the upside down face of a woman with short white hair that hung as well, though her skin was a pale purple, her face and forehead spotted with eight black eyes with yellow pupils.

Layla sat there in shock as she glanced over the rest of the woman in a split second. To her horror she would find that the top half of the woman was like that of any other, but her lower was that of a spider, and Layla was petrified of spiders.

"Hello cuties!" The drider spoke in a raspy voice as she opened all of her legs at once as if to present herself to them.

This gesture would immediately send Layla and Quinn running and screaming deeper into the forest as Sylas stood his ground, deeply disappointed by the resolve of his new companions.

"Quinn! Layla!" Sylas would shout, doing his best to rally his fleeing party members, but it was too late as they had already broke.

The drider would drop to the ground and then spring forth to clutch Layla in her grasp, quickly wrapping her in a thick cocoon of web.

Sylas would start to summon forth a red glow of demonic magic around his hand, but the drider had returned to the shadows faster than he could react. Quinn was already deep in the forest as he had run away screaming first, leaving Sylas alone in the foggy forest.

Quinn the cat boy was always a nimble and graceful little thief, but as he sprinted through the dark dank forest he could barely think straight through the fear that wracked his mind. He nearly tripped over every obstacle in his way, every stick, fallen tree, and loose rock. A few stray branches would smack him in the face, but he would push on still.

Finally the little cat came to a halt, panting and looking about frantically to see if he had finally lost the monster that had stalked them.

The branches of the forest swayed in the cool breeze and the shadows cast by the moon danced about.

Quinn pressed his back to a tree and scanned everything in front of him as his ears perked and twitched, looking for any odd sound. The only thing he could hear was the shifting of the branches and leaves as the breeze blew through the forest, but once the breeze had subsided the rattle of the leaves above him continued on.

It took him a few moments to realize what this meant, but once that realization dawned on him, he was overcome with pure terror as he gazed up into the treetop above him.

All he could see was a black silhouette with eight yellow glowing dots growing larger as it moved down the tree straight towards him.

The only thing that drove him now was fear as he kicked off from the trunk of the tree to launch himself into a sprint.

The drider leaped from branch to branch above him in quick pursuit.

Once again the cat boy was so overcome with fear his movements started to become clumsy as he fled from the monster.

He would keep looking over his shoulder and checking the tree tops for any sign of the drider, hardly paying any attention to where he was going, until finally he took a misstep.

Quinn's paw would come down, but landed on nothing as he began to tumble down a steep hill.

He rolled over all sorts of sticks and leaves, the forest floor dirtying his fur as he finally came to a stop at the bottom of the hill.

The cat was still for only a moment to recover and recompose himself, before taking off once again into the unknown of the forest.

He had no clear direction as only fear guided him to sprint on until suddenly he slammed into something. Something soft, but strong as it recoiled and bounced about from his impact.

The feeling of it was unmistakable as he struggled against it.

It was something he had walked though many times in his musty bell tower home.

It was web, but not just normal web. This web was far larger, stronger, and stickier, and he knew just what that meant.

Quinn struggled and flailed about, trying desperately to escape it's clutches, but it was no use as he was exhausted and panting from the chase he had just endured.

The cat would finally settle in the web, panting and looking about before finally noticing the two pairs of eyes that had been watching him.

"Oh hey Quinn, I was wondering when you would find us," Barric said, also stuck in the upper part of the web. Though instead of being wrapped in a cocoon of web like one would expect, the King was bound with his wrist together behind his back, his ankles together, and strands of web running about his body in a suggestive bondage fashion.

"B-barric! There was a scary spider monster thing and it chased me and now I'm stuck and, and-" Quinn blubbered as Barric nodded.

"Well as you can see, I've kinda noticed all that," Barric assured him.

"Quinn! That you?" Layla called out now, also a bit higher in the web then Quinn.

She was also bound by the strands of web in a suggestive position, her hands behind her back, her legs forced spread, and a bit of web blind folding her.

"Yea, it's me," Quinn responded disappointedly.

"Wait… If you're not gagged, then why didn't you keep yelling when we called your name?" Layla asked.

"Weeelll, every time I yelled the drider would press my face against her chest to silence me, plus this web is pretty comfy, so I decided I didn't want to be saved. Plus I think she might just be lonely," Barric informed them.

"Are you fucking serious?" Layla yelled as Quinn rolled his eyes at their bickering.

"Of course you all got caught," A calm voice commented.

Everyone trapped in the web all looked up at once and spoke at the same time.

"Sylas!" They all said.

The demon messenger stood before all of them with his arms crossed, looking quite disappointed.

"You two seem excited to see me after you ran off and left me," Sylas siad, staring down Quinn and Layla.

"Sorry! I was scared…" Quinn admitted.

"We knew you could take care of yourself!" Layla said, grinning as she tried to sell her bad excuse.

"Sylas!" Barric cut in. "She could be back any moment! Her abdomen is her weak spot, you have to finger it!" The King told him.

The demon would make a disgusted face as he moved to try and free Quinn and Layla, pulling away the web that blind folded the elf.

"Why would I ever touch a monster like that when I could just kill It?" He asked.

"That's not the way Sylas! Most Monster girls are just misunderstood, just like the demons, just like you!" Barric assured him.

The demon paused for a moment to consider this.

"There you are!" A female voice rang out. It belonged to the drider who was just above Sylas at this very moment.

She dropped from the tree top above, heading right for Sylas with a big fanged smile on her face, but just before she would land on the demon he disappeared into a cloud of purple mist causing the drider to land on six of her eight legs as she looked around confused.

"W-what!?" She shouted in her confusion and disappointment.

In only a moment the demon would reappear behind her, his hand at the ready as it began to transform and shift into a demonic looking black claw.

"A simple illusion," He said, before lunging at the drider with his outstretched claw.

The rest of the party would gasp at this.

"Sylas! No!" Barric yelled as he lunged for the drider.

Sylas was to fast for the monster girl to react, but once his black claw impacted her it wouldn't cut her in half as everyone had expected, instead it would slip right into the drider's spinnerette, leaving the demon elbow deep in her abdomen now.

The drider would immediately stiffen up as all eight of her eyes went wide and her mouth opened to let a surprised, but sensual gasp out!

A silence fell over everyone for a moment before finally being interrupted by Layla.

"Oh my fucking gods…" She said, in total disbelief at what they had all just seen.

"I think I'm gonna be sick!" Quinn said, looking away.

"I knew you had it in you Sylas!" Barric said, mostly to himself.

Sylas would raise his free hand that wasn't elbow deep in the drider and bring it down quickly to give her plump abdomen a sharp slap!

Smack!

The slap rang out seemingly through the entire forest as Sylas was able to get a firm grip on her abdomen with his free hand now.

"Ah!" The drider gasped again, letting out a breathy high moan!

Sylas retrieved his arm, pulling it from the drider's spinnerette with a wet Pop!

It would be revealed that the demon's black claw was now balled into a fist as he plunged it back into her abdomen with another wet Squish!

"Ehhah!" The drider squealed in surprised excitement as Sylas began to pump his fist in and out of her squelching spinnerette hole. She shivered and moaned all the while, eventually dropping to the knees of her six spider like legs, her human like hands flat on the ground as she drooled with pleasure.

The party would watch in silent amazement as the demon pleasured the drider with his fist.

Eventually her moans and squeals would grow to a crescendo until her entire body would stiffen and her eight eyes would twitch.

The drider would pant and gasp before rolling from her knees onto her back, her six spider like legs curling up as she laid still.

"Is she… dead?" Layla asked.

"No, just stunned," Sylas answered, inspecting his arm that dripped with what looked to be thick, white, watered down webbing.

After a bit the party would finally find themselves gathered back around the campfire having a late night snack as they were now joined by the drider who sat close to Sylas, sharing a log with him.

"I'm sorry… I didn't mean to scare you all back there, I just thought you were all so cute, and I'm just lonely living in the forest by myself," The drider explained, her purple face red with embarrassment.

"See! I told you Sylas!" Barric pointed out as Sylas rolled his eyes.

"Then why do you live in the forest?" The demon would ask the drider.

"The people of the nearby village are scared of me… They think I'm some kind of monster that lives in the forest and they are somewhat right, but… I have feelings, I'm lonely, I have a name. It's Sharlet…" Sharlet the drider explained.

"I see…" Sylas said, looking at the ground, perhaps even starting to feel a little sorry for the drider.

Sharlet sat very close to Sylas, her body and abdomen pressed right up against him.

"I just want to be a part of their village. I could make everyone there clothes. I want to meet people that will care about me, someone who will lay in my web with me at night, someone with big strong arms," Sharlet would go on longingly, before grasping Sylas's arm and pressing closer to him.

Surprisingly the demon would allow her to cling to him, unfazed, but seemingly uninterested.

"Hmmmm, perhaps we can help you," Barric said, staring into the fire.

Layla and Quinn would both raise their eyebrows at this.

"You said you could make clothes? How so?" Barric asked.

"I spin them from my web. Here let me show you," Sharlet said, reaching behind herself to pull some web from her spinnerette and start fashioning something right before their eyes.

Soon enough she had crafted a beautiful white shirt that looked as if it were made of silk.

"Oh wow…" Layla commented as Barric nodded.

"That gives me an idea…" Barric said.

The next morning, the party would make their way into the village with Sharlet in tow. On their way in a few people would stare, but some would pay them no mind as the drider walked with the others. They would make their way to the market area of the village, where Sharlet would push two tall sticks into the ground and run a bit of web between them. She would then begin to hang up some clothes she had prepared the night before, and stand off to the side of her little display.

Soon enough a few curious villagers would approach her stand and begin to look over her clothes with admiring gazes.

"These are quite fine!" One man would say, looking over the shirt she had made.

"They look like they're made of silk," A woman would say, admiring one of Sharlet's dresses.

"Thank you, thank you!" Sharlet nodded and thanked each of them.

Another villager would approach her little stand.

He was a burly man, with a thick beard and large strong arms. He wore simple clothes that was accented with a thick apron, clearly a blacksmith.

He would touch one of the shirts the drider had made, giving it a slight tug and stroking the material between his thumb and forefinger.

"Flexible, but strong… This would go well under armored plating. They're quite beautiful as well," The man commented. "Could I offer you some coin to make more of these?" The blacksmith asked.

Sharlet blushed at all the compliments, but shook her head.

"You don't have to pay me, I'm just happy to be here and help," she assured the small crowd of villagers who had gathered around her display.

"At least let me make you a home cooked meal Miss…" The blacksmith said, trailing off in search of her name.

"Sharlet… My name is Sharlet," the drider told him.

The man would offer his large hand to Sharlet.

"Miss Sharlet… I'm Lukas, the blacksmith for this village, pleased to meet you," He told her.

The drider would slowly and shyly reach out to take the man's hand and shake it back.

"Pleased to meet you as well," Sharlet said, a big smile growing across her face.

"Well I think our work here is done," Barric said as he turned to leave.

"And good job Sylas, I knew you had it in ya," Barric said, putting a large arm around Sylas's shoulders.

"And what do you mean by that?" The demon asked, raising an eyebrow.

"Huh? We're leaving already? Wait up!" Quinn said, jogging to catch back up with the party.

"Well hurry up, let's fucking go then," Barric says, as the party finally continued their journey.
