Alliana's pov:
We were all sitting around the dining table eating our dinner. "Damn, slow down! You'll eat everything on the table," Denzel said. "Don't worry, I saved some for later," Montero said with a big grin. "Let her eat; she's been a little moody today," Carlos said. "Maybe it's that time of the month," Vex said, which made everyone at the table groan in unison. "Ew, Vex, seriously?" AJ said, looking grossed out.
I rolled my eyes and decided to toss a piece of pork chop at Vex playfully. "I'm not on my period," I said. "Sure, we believe you," Carlos said with a smirk. "By the way, when are we leaving for Milan? It's getting kind of dark," Kai asked, looking out the window. "We'll leave as soon as Alliana is done eating everything in sight," Carlos said.
"I'm almost done," I said between bites, shoveling the last of my food onto my fork.
